| I saw them open up for Porcupine Tree probably about 2 years ago. I was kinda hoping that seeing them live would change my opinion of the band, but it did not. I've tried, but I just can't get into these guys. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

They have always been a love or hate band. If you get it that's great, if you don't it's not a big deal. Plenty of other music out there. |

Yea, I gave up trying to like them. I figured if they didn't do it for me live, it's wasn't gonna happen. Funny how I enjoy most of their outside projects, but the main band just doesn't click. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Yes, I hope so. If had to have surgery right away, it must have been major

| King's X frontman Doug Pinnick has revealed that drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a heart attack on February 25th.
Pinnick posted through Facebook, "I need prayer warriors now. My friend Jerry Gaskil (drummer of King's X) suffered a heart attack last night, he was operated on and is in stable condition at the time. Asking for prayers for his complete healing and ask you all to be in agreement in Christ. Thank you friends."
Hours later Pinnick updated the situation by saying, "Julie said Jerry woke up pulling chords out, she says he's feisty! That's a good sign! Thanks everyone for prayers and good vibes, it can only get better now."
In light of the current situation, all of the band's previously announced tour dates have been canceled. The band was scheduled to start a three week mini tour on March 28th in Austin, Texas.

If they're lowering his doses, then that's good...it means his body is regulating itself. _________________ FINAL SIGN

That's what I thought - it sounds like it was a major heart attack, surgery, ventilator, sedation, blood pressure meds, cords/etc......... I hope he makes a full recovery

| Holy smokes!! I'm just reading this info. Wow, hope he recovers.
When my dad suffered a heart attack a few years ago, his was classified as "minor" and didn't involve surgery, being on a ventilator, sedation or any of that stuff. He's still alive & well 5+ years later.
My grandmother, on the other hand, sounds more like what happened to Jerry. Let's hope for the best. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
