| I only listen to metal. There is enough variety in the different genere's of metal to keep me interested. I do not need to look anywhere else. | |

Well, the band members were roughly ages 15 to 20, I think, when they were signed. Very young either way. Their music was alt-rock for the most part, with a little rap thrown in, I guess. But not rap-rock. The CD is awesome, though! The funny thing is how these dudes turned out. The singer left and went super-Christian. The rest of the band went the other way, in a far less Christian, sludgier direction. Haha. This is Mutha's Day out: http://www.myspace.com/muthasdayout These are just a few of the bands MDO members went on to: RWAKE - THE STONER TREEDEADBIRD - RORSARCH SKYCOPSODOMY - SOUL UNWHOLEHaha. I actually love Copsodomy. They released only demos, but I got a few while living in Arkansas, and they were great. I also like Deadbird. Not a fan of Rwake, though. Anyway, quite a change, huh? Haha. And for a laugh, the singer's post-MDO band: GAZER (emphasis on the first syllable)

I love this, but have always thought of it as metal. What is it, if not metal?? well, i always considered it metal too. but i have been told most consider it either alternative or grunge. i guess it treads that fine line, similar to AIC's Dirt. nevertheless, it's a fine album. _________________ | |
