| I never really could get into his music, i always preferred Captain Beefheart if i wanted an eccentric wacko from the late 60's. | |

I liked Frank as a person long before I "got" his music. I always thought that he was an intelligent and well-spoken gentleman. I had allot of respect for him when he stood up against the PMRC. It wasn't until a few years ago that my brother-in-law got me listening to his music.

| I have to confess I don't know much of Zappa's music, but I will always respect him for going to Washington and standing alongside Dee Snider and John Denver (!) to defend artistic freedom during the infamous PMRC hearings of the '80s. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I heard alot of his stuff when I was akid in the 70's. I can appreciate his sense of humor, although I dont have any of his albums. As for his guitar playing, Ive heard some of his instrumental music and he is one very underrated guitar player. I had no idea he was that good til I heard his instrumental stuff. | |

| Never have gotten into him, although Terry Bozzio gets a lot of props from me. Amazing drummer.
I'm sure he's talented, brilliant, wonderfdul, whatever, but I've never heard anything by him that I could ever get into.
