Does anyone suck?

There has been to much positivity here lately. Tell me what metal band/artist you think is lame.

I'll start with Kiss. I love the music on Lick it up and Animalize, otherwise, they are among the most over-hyped, mediocre talent, anything for a buck, untrue to the spirit of metal band out there. (that comment should start some negativity!)

BELLADONNA - Spells of Fear
Love Belladonna. Great signer in Anthrax. His first solo album was decent, but Spells of Fear is the absolute worst piece of crap.

ROBERT SWEET - Love Trash
I'm a big 'ol, goofy Stryper fan, but this CD is just BLECH!

GUARDIAN - Bottle Rocket!
Blech!

KISS rules!

Pantera sucked after COWBOYS FROM HELL.

Iron Maiden sucked for a while (during the 90s) but rebounded nicely.

W.A.S.P. sucked on K.F.D.

White Lion -- Wait.... Waiiit.... wait for a fist in your mouth... THEY SUCK....

Ozzy Osbourne.... He was great until about 10 years ago(actually the first 4-5 solo discs I paid attention too)... He's old can't sing anymore and is just an embarrassment.... (got that off my chest...)

Bride - The Jesus Experience.... great title but the music is RANK Does anyone suck? 19976

I was thinking Queensryche and Def Leppard, but they seem like "gimmes" too (along with different genres, ie nu-metal, emo, grunge etc.). They've already taken their beatings in numerous threads. I'll need to think about this one. I'm sure there is some other bands out there that suck, but it hasn't been pointed out yet.

Black Sabbath with Ozzy is a snore-fest. Iommi's excellent guitar work is the only positive thing about the band pre-1980.

Ozzy has always been terrible. Jake E Lee made Ultimate Sin a good album, but that is his only listenable product.

Nightwish suck. In fact most of that symphonic bulls**t does. It couldn't be anymore formulaic. I think that most guys like them due to the fact that a rack is singing. She can't sing well.

Iced Earth is just an average band. Yep, it's true. There is nothing above par with them.

Dimebag Darrell is HIGHLY overrated. He wasn't better than a million other guitarists of his day. He just had better guitar effect pedals.

Peter Criss is the worst drummer i have ever seen in a major band. His high school marching band rolls get tiring after the 1st 10 seconds of his solo on Alive!

Ohhh, i agree with PANTERA and TRIXTER and not long ago i would have agreed with K.F.D but nowadays i dont think its so bad.

I dont think theres enough room on this board for me to list things that I think suck haha. But what I think really sucks the most (and maybe this is becaues im a drummer) is fake drums! Is this world on such a drummer shortage that bands have to use drum machines or computer programs on their albums? So many bands even some that I listen to have used fake drums and it really decides wether or not I like the album. For example I really like the band Wizard and I got all their albums then they came out with the album Magic Circle (where they use the programed drums) and I cant even listen to that album. Thank god they fixed that problem with the next album. Another example is the last Crimson Glory Astronomica. I was really excited to hear that album and once again fake drums. I wasnt too crazy about Wade Blacks voice either but thats another topic Very Happy

. The only album thats somewhat acceptable is King Diamonds The Eye and even that took me a long time to get used to.

Kiss are not good unless they are lip syncing live
Ozzy has gone to the sh***er

and I agree with Thrasher about the flowery, keyboardy power metal
I'll add a lot of Progressive bands to that list!

ZZ Top/Def Leppard - I lump them together because they are simply the swiftest channel changers of my lifetime. I just don't like their sound....
