| I'm sure Gene's in-box is filled daily with requests and ideas folks have using something KISS related. But if Gene can't turn it around and make it sound like it's HIS idea, he ain't buying it. This Elder movie concept seems like it's already fleshed out and ready to go. If Gene can't somehow be attached to it (production-wise) and considdering the band's overall history of distancing themselves from the album in general, I have a feeling it will get the kibosh. You'd have a better chance and re-imagining "KISS Meets The Phantom of the Park". _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

You don't want to know what depths he'll sink to for some Scooby Snacks. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Gene likes $.
When I played in a KISS tribute band we had to pay a license fee for the use of the make-up to KISS ltd.
I once seen a tribute band called WET KISS that did "Rip and Destroy" in the middle of Hotter than Hell.

low budget with poor writing can make any good idea go south It most like be a horrible flick..... but if they do it right, it could turn into a classic piece of camp cinema.

| Reviving an old thread... I have been seeing this one sitting on the shelves at my local record store for years. Never bothered checking it out before. I ended up buying it yesterday and gave it a first spin in the car. It's very very good actually. Another good blind purchase . | |

Another good blind purchase . Yeah, underrated for sure, but only because most people say the whole thing sucks. For me, I really dig five or six songs; the rest are garbage.

| The KISS album that Gene and Paul hate but I on the other hand think is rather enjoyable. Bought as a new release on vinyl and still have it to this day. In fact, it was one of the first cds I ever bought too. | |

| I read an interview with Gene and Paul about the 40th anniversary and they both still hate it, Paul seems to really hate it whereas Gene thinks it's more of a "misguided effort". _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
