To be fair, that title reads like "PepsiCo thinks Pepsi is an incredibly tasty bewerage!"
Obviously KK wants to hype it up.
Of course he wants to.
Anyways, it is KK after all and Ripper is behind the mic. So i guess we should be in for a treat.

I find music much more enjoyable without all the drama. If the music is good, I'm there!

For me there's no need for hype. This is just a really unique situation where you get a cross section of a particular lineup of a classic band putting out new music. I'm all in.

I think it would be really cool if they went for a Stained Class or HBFL sound.

I’ve been waiting to hear this!
KK has got to bring his A-game. There’s a lot of doubters. I hope he surprises everyone with a great album!

I really believe he has a lot to prove so this release will hopefully be excellent! Looking forward to hearing new metal music and very curious about the direction KK goes. Should be awesome.

Winters Bane - Heart of a Killer Judas Priest - Jugulator Beyond Fear - s/t
That's top three.
The Glorious Burden is good, too. I haven't heard the Malmsteen album. I got the album he did with Chris Caffery, Spirits of Fire, but it doesn't quite rank up there with the top three.
The worst one he did was Play My Game. I love the lineup, but that's just filler grade material.

"Sometime in 2021" is not really saying anything.
2021 could potentially become a metal year for the ages, with so many 2020 releases getting pushed. You couldn't tour with the coronavirus, and you want to time your new release with your tour, so it's understandable. Helloween did it.

I agree. Would be fun though if we'd get a first sample at least.
I am curious what they will sound like.

I know this album is going to be great! Maybe a cross between Painkiller and Jugulator with some nods to the classic early 80s Priest style.

The only thing I’m not sure about is Les Binks. I know he is a good drummer, but I don’t think he could keep up with Scott Travis. Hopefully I’m wrong and he can work the double bass well.

Ripper’s vocals on his live albums with Priest proved that he has the pipes to do Painkiller songs justice. I actually think he excels in the higher range stuff.

They could do some Stained Class type of stuff too, what with Les Binks in the band and all.

I expect them to incorporate some of the late 70s era because of Binks. He’s more from the straightforward old school style like Nicko McBrain.
