| Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat
So yeah. Not a favorite. This beer has potential, but I don't know what is missing. It has an aftertaste that taste likes blueberries to me. I have read online that some liken the aftertaste to Fruity Pebbles. I can see that. Now maybe you understand my disdain. I had 3 of them the other night. I don't think I would be able to make it through a sixer in one sitting. Back to the drawing board, I guess. |

Kind of I guess, but horchata has a lot of sugar as well. LOVE Leinenkugals in all varieties. The Sunset Wheat is all we gat this far south, but I had a good sampling of the varieties over the years, as my sister lives in Wisconson. They are moving back down here, so they were thrilled to hear that Leinenkugals is available.

| Continuing with my beer experimentations, I tried Blue Moon over the weekend and it was very good! Another American beer that I like. I think that's 2 1/2 now. Now the Blue Moon is nowhere as good as the authentic Beligian Hoegaarden, but it's close. It was served to me at TGIFridays with a orange wedge which actually did enhance the flavor. So who knew that some Americans knew what they were doing when it comes to beer brewing? |

| My alltime favorite is a local seasonal microbrew Schlafley's Pumpkin Ale. Of the regularly available beers, I like Sam Adams Black Lager. I'm a major beer snob. Rule #1 - If it's in a can, I don't drink it. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I will drink out of a bottle (glasses are sort of passe at a tailgate party) but I refuse can beer even if it's free. BTW, for you people who want a decent light beer, I'd recommend Sam Adams Light. It actually still tastes like a real beer. In fact, slam the bottle down too hard and it foams over. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Picked up a bottle of a pretty kick-ass ale this evening called "Arrogant Bastard." How can I pass up something with a name like that? I'm enjoying the buzz off of it (and 2 bottles of Saranac Pale Ale) right now.
Anyone tried the Arrogant Bastard stuff? Pretty killer. The label of the bottle is hilarious too, the back of the bottle has a whole essay about how "this beer is probably too good for you" and "you probably won't like it." Well, I do!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Snobby beer, sounds good.
Nothing wrong with drinking beer out of a can. Many enjoyable backyard parties have been had sinkin' VB tinnies and blasting the Angels. Hell even Rod's enjoying a can in my avatar, if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me.

| Here's the full rant from the back of the Arrogant Bastard Ale bottle: "This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory -- maybe something with a multi million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think that multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this. Questions? Comments? If you don't like this beer, keep it to yourself. We don't want to hear from any snivelling yellow-beer-drinkin' wimps, 'cause this beer wasn't made for you." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

"Death to posers" And it's DAMN good stuff too... good enough to back up the smack talk on the back of the label. 7.2% alcohol to boot! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

7.2%! Maybe it's getting you paralytic so you can't tell if it's good or not. I'm still able to post in complete sentences so I wouldn't exactly say I'm "paralytic," haha. But this is the nicest beer buzz I've had in awhile!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I don't drink much anymore but being from the Northwest the plethora of craft beers is almost overwhelming. I'm an amber to dark guy myself and really like the Alaskan Amber. My brother has been drinking that Arrogant Bastard ale for some time as it fits his personality. |

I settled for Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter. Goes great with the spaghetti I'm having... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I settled for Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter. We have a box from that Vanilla Porter out in our storage container at work. I've always wanted to try it, but never have seen it in stores.
