It's a pumpkin imperial stout. Really different. A guy I work with gave me one last week and after just one bottle I wasn't sure what to think so I picked up a 6 pk yesterday and now I love it. Starts with a cinnamon/nutmeg and pumpkin taste but ends with the chocolate/coffiee tastes of a stout. And at 10.6 ABV it's definitely a sipper. Got another sixer of this while it's still available. Given the weaker versions of Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale and Ofallon Pumpkin Beer, this may become my new fall favorite. It tastes great and really kicks butt. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Looking forward to beer shopping this weekend. I have already picked up the local October beer, but will go out for a few more to neck down before attending a concert this Saturday. _________________ | |

You wanna try being a raging alcoholic! No beer for nearly 11 years with no beer on the horizon. (What with the problems it caused me, I can't say that I miss it that much)

| Picked up a case of Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash today. The store was down to about three 6 packs after that. I decided to get a case while it's still around. My favorite Fall beer for 2013.
Also picked up a 6pk of Left Hand's Octoberfest beer. Octoberfests are real hit or miss for me but I like this one. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I normally do I bought a six of their "pumpkin ale" a few years ago before I knew Blue Moon was a "stealth beer" (a mass-producing brewery masquerading as a micro-brew). I choked down 3 and poured the other 3 down the drain. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Which one? Boston Lager. It was actually quite tasty. That's actually my least favorite Sam Adams beer, though the mouthfeel and boldness is inviting. They excel with other types.

I'm not a big fan of the Boston Lager out of the bottle but I love it on tap! When I lived in CT, my girlfriend and I ate at Chili's at least once a week and they always had SA Lager on tap, served in a frosted mug. Hmmm...a thousand places here to get it on tap and I've never once tried it...think I'm gonna hit up our local pizza joint tonight. On a related note, I just tried their Porch Rocker--beer and lemonade?!?!--and Blueberry Lager. Now, I am not one for these types of beers. Just like coffee should be black, beer should be beer. No sweet fruity shit. But this? This was pretty damn good.

'Surprised' is a good word. I was expecting something like Shock Top tries to do with all their raspberry and lemon crap:puke: . But the blueberry was mild enough to compliment the malt.

Last time I was at The Olive Garden, they had Fat Tire on tap. Unfortunatly, I had to be in the truck shortly afterwards so couldn't try it out. I'll have to try to try it out while I have some time off.

Definitely a bucket list barrel.
