The whole album leaked some time ago if you want to track it down on the interwebs.

I know Best Buy is on allot of folks sh*t-list right now, but they're selling (or soon to be) a cd single of 'Breathing Lightning' with 2 live tracks plus a coupon for $2 off the new album when it's released. Same as they did with the last Slayer and Motorhead albums.

Interesting. I got the Iron Maiden single from them. Maybe I'll be checking into this one.

Great album!

Much more aggressive and thrashier than Worship Music, and probably their best since Persistence of Time.

I'll be picking mine up today at lunch.

Joey's vocals do not sound so hot on this one.

The new album's out today right? Do I dare give my local Best Buy a try for it on my ride home? After all, they totally dropped the ball with the new Megadeth a couple of weeks ago....

I guess there's only one way to find out...

It doesn't look like the Best Buy version has any extra tracks or special goodies like the Megadeth disc so if it's the same CD that you can find anywhere else, I might luck out.

Get this, tho: I just found out that Anthrax had a special listening party for the new album last night at a recording/rehearsal studio in Butler, NJ - which is the next town over from me!! -and I had no knowledge of it. There was a meet & greet 'n' everything. DAMMIT! Why am I always the last to find out about cool sh*t??

My Best Buy had plenty of copies, at least a dozen. First impressions on this album is that it's really good. Great songs and I for one believe Belladonna sounds good.

Stopped @ Best Buy on the way home tonight and Anthrax was in tha houuuuuse ... or something like that.

Probably won't have time to listen to it till tomorrow but at least I got one!

Listening to this album is a slog. Ugh.

I should have my copy of this Monday.

I still haven't had time to give it a complete spin so obviously it hasn't had time to 'gel" yet, but I dig what I hear thus far... I think I've made it to about the halfway point (the last track I heard was called "Suzerain," whatever the f*** that is?)

I'm enjoying the new album. It's very similar in style to the last album with a few hints of the old 80's Anthrax sound. Fairly melodic overall.

I thought Anthrax broke up after Persistence, and then most of the dudes played in that guy from Armored Saint's side band until they reformed a couple years ago and put out Worship Music?

Yeah that's how I plan to check it out too. "Evil Twin" is there, so maybe it's one of those delayed things, where it has to be out for a couple weeks before it hits Spotify. Though a big chunk of their catalog is not there anyway, the Bush era...so no clue.
