I like this one a lot more than Hardwired. It's actually got me kinda pumped for the album now.

I'll never really get into Hetfield's vocals anymore, but "Moth Into Flame" is a vast improvement over "Hard Wired" and its goofy lyrics.

I am happy with the way the new album is shaping up.
Ride the lightning it ain't but at least the songs have a good metal feeling. And i can hear some nice solos.

I think I like this new tune a little more than 'Hardwired', but I'm still not all that psyched over the upcoming album.

I like both songs quite a lot. I don't care about the goofy lyrics. James has written some decent ones but he's always written some terrible ones like this example
Slamming through, don't F*ck with razorback Stepping out? You'll feel our hell on your back Blood follows blood and we make sure Life ain't for you and we're the cure Honesty is my only excuse Try to rob us of it, but it's no use Steamroller action crushing all Victim is your name and you shall fall
But I don't remember anyone hating Master of Puppets because of it
I'm really looking forward to the new album now.

I liked the first song better. This one isn't bad, but James singing voice just makes me grit my teeth.

That new song's not too bad. Still doesn't change my opinion on the album though. I'll get it at some point but it's not a high priority.

It's not a good sign for me when I dig the verse sections of a song more than the chorus. To my mind the "hook" is typically supposed to be in the chorus but with this "Moth" song I find the verses to be much more memorable.
It's not a terrible song but nothing that screams "must have" either.

I listened to moth to the flame once last night. Didn't really know what to think, however throughout the day I kept mentally coming back to parts. The hooks, guitar lines and chorus all stayed with me, after listening to so much forgettable music the last couple weeks having something really stick out and sink it's teeth into my subconscious is a great feeling. I just listened through the second time now, it's a good song. I'm liking it more than the new testament song.

Was just thinking, has there ever been a year before where all of the Big 4 have released an album in the same year?
