"Triple Dog" (2010)
A gang of slumber partying teen girls play a "Truth or Dare" style game that gets quickly out of hand. The trailer makes this one look like a horror/thriller, but it's just a disappointingly girly drama, worthy of the Lifetime network. Nice performances by the young cast 'n all, it's just not "my" kind of movie.

I've got no major problems with this film, besides the fact that it's torture porn posing as art and social commentary. But f*%king YouTube!! Where children can easily access it? Nah!!!
WTF YouTube!!!

Personally, I don't buy into the whole "Serbian political condition" explanation by the director, that's a bit far fetched.
But at the same time, I feel it explores the animalistic/barbaric side of human sexuality that isn't really seen too often in film and foreshadows where we're headed as a society with sex being perverted so beyond recognition.
I don't think any kids will be enticed to watch anything with "Serbian" in the title though.

Unless the playground grapevine has deteriorated badly since my time at school, kids have probably been all over this.
This is the same YouTube that bans sexually explicit content!

American Horror Story. Neat twist there with Del's
Spoiler:
sexuality
and the spoiled kid thread is fun stuff. However, the whole issue with the cons is boring me.

Great day of college football so far:
I watched Baylor utterly destroy OU.
Arizona throttled Notre Dame - proving once again how soft their schedule is and how they are eternally overrated.
Texas A&M v. Auburn - so much for Auburn's #3 slot. Bye bye playoffs.
Now watching
Alabama v. LSU
Ohio State v. Michigan State

The Affair (Showtime)
Excellent series that borrows a Rashomon-framework. Each hour-long episode tells the same events from two different points of view. The first 30 minutes is told from the man's point of view, then the next 30 minutes tells the same events from the woman's point of view. It's fascinating to compare each variation. A refreshingly adult series, a nice break from the usual network TV fare.

I watched most of those too. The most satisfying was AZ St over ND; I HATE Notre Dame! The Aggies win over Auburn was pretty sweet too; I'm generally for anything that throws the current top 10 rankings into turmoil.
Now watching TCU vs Kansas State.

I've got that on too. Chaos is always great when it comes to the top 10. Hehe.

Niners vs Saints
I hate the Niners but I have to admit this was one helluva game.
Now watching my Rams vs Arizona.
And again St. Louis is competitive for a half, actually leading 14-10 at halftime. We'll see if they can hold it like or if the fold like they have a number of times this season.

I didn't watch it but I read that Hopkins was dominated. The guy is 49 years old; long past time to hang it up buddy. And it's not like he needs the money. From everything I've ever read Hopkins has saved all his winnings and is already set for life.
The Executioner has nothing left to prove in my book; he's one of the greatest fighters of all time. Now get out before you embarrass yourself.

Too windy today to walk so I went back to the elliptical and started watching Godzilla 2014. Thirty minutes in and I'm OK with it so far; nice setup taking place and some establishment of characters. I like the ominous trail from the "egg" to the ocean.

"Red Line" (2013)
A low budget thriller that revolves around a terrorist bombing in the Los Angeles subway system. While waiting for rescue, a small group of survivors must deal with the fact that the bomber may still be among them. Pretty average stuff; I've seen better, but I've seen lots worse.
