Yes Bride doesn´t count here. but I think we could start another topic and be more flexible about that. like: "heavy rock" bands with only one guitarrist and that it would include bands that spent the majority of their career with only one guitarrist ...

Yes, Living Colour counts...they're within the borders of Metal.

But they are "not always" Metal. If you said the band should ALWAYS has had only one guitar player they are also supposed to be Metal all the time throught all their career and in all of their songs.

a song like "Glamour Boys" is definitely NOT Metal. same with "bi". I tend to hear more hard rock and funk than "Metal" on Living Colour´s music.

Rush and Ramones are not Metal. DRI and Crucified started as Hardcore bands so they would not "count". unless if you changed the rules of the topic to somting like "metal for most of their career and ALWAYS a one guitarrist band". even with this Rush and Ramones and ( IMPO ) Living Colour would not count.

Again, Joe Sach. I've never seen him with a backup guitarist in the handful of live footage that I've seen. Could be wrong.

Boris had some good ones; Bathory and Whiplash belong here.

Note that Plant is a guitar player and has gone on record stating he's played on four studio Zep tunes. Not sure if that changes things or not.
