I was raeding the CD insert to MSG " Best of from 1980-1984".... It says Deep Purple offered him the gig when Richie Blackmore left. Ozzy offered him a job. Whitesnake - David Coverdale offered him a spot. etc. I wonder if KISS thought about him - damn !

I think Schenker counter-offered by asking Ozzy to be the lead singer of MSG.
