It's funny how these bands are praised for sounding like Ac/DC, while bands like Krokus and Kingdom Come were slammed in the 80's for the same thing.
At this point it's pretty much its own genre.

'77 has a new one coming out in May, Bright Gloom...
Cool tune. It's be better though if they asked Axl to do the vocals.

Took me a while to find this thread again... I have a new (well, they're not "new" but they're new to me) AC/DC inspired band - Adrenaline Factor. I found these guys in the cheap-o section of Perris Records' web site. The singer has got that Bon Scott thing goin' on and the guitarist, Paul Lidel, was in Dirty Looks and Broken Teeth, so obviously the AC/DC sound is in his DNA, haha.
They appear to be one of those "one and done" bands because this album came out in 2006 and there doesn't seem to be any follow ups.

That's not bad; the singer definitely has a Bon Scott vibe in his voice but the music does sound more like Broken Teeth IMO; it's just not as memorable as other AC/DC clones out there. Not a bad pickup though if you got it on the cheap.

I got it with three other Perris-label clearance CDs for a grand total of $10 incl. shipping, so I had no complaints.

I think Eyesore nailed it with this comment regarding AC/DC clones bands which I don't remember reading before :

It's funny but it really is true; as soon as I see something like "sounds like AC/DC" I'll give said band a listen.

Although Annihilator is very far from an AC/DC clone, they did do two or three songs that were basically AC/DC worship.
I'll post the song because someone here is going to love it if they've never heard it.

Ummmm...that would be...ME!!!!!!
That's DEFINITELY AC/DC worship! I love it!
If they did a whole album like that I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
EDIT: I've listened to that track 3 times now. Man I wish they'd do a whole album like that!

Oh yea, that Annihilator track is great. It definitely sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of that album though.

That's what I figured. I wasn't going to rush right out and buy the album but that song is great as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I was being flippant of course. There’s a clip on YouTube but for some reason I can’t post lately.

Anyone remember the short-lived band Nevada Beach? What's interesting about them is that they mixed their AC/DC style with (slightly) cleaner vocals:
EDIT: Apparently they released a new album in 2016:

How's that album holdin' up? I've been eyeing that one up on the Perris website too.

It's fun; I just listened to it again a couple of days ago. It goes particularly well with cheap beer.

How about that Jetboy album? I saw you got that one too. Is that stuff from "back-in-the-day" that never got released or new recordings?

I've been digging that one too. It's a mish-mosh of leftover tracks/demos/unreleased stuff, but most of it is quite good.

Well then, looks like I need to pay a visit to Perris Records while I still got some money in the ol' PayPal account. Merry Christmas to me.

I don't wanna go through 5 pages, so apologies if these guys were mentioned already. If not, here's another band with that AC/DC sound you all know and love. I present to you...
Roller with the album Candy It Up
You can find this cheap through Perris Records if it suits ya.

Not sure if this band has been mentioned yet, but I just stumbled across them a few weeks ago. Really great stuff. They fall along a heavier line, like Airbourne, but there's no question who their main influence is.
