Best thrash release of 2013 (so far)?

Top for me is Essence, but there have been a lot of them that came close, or probably tied 2nd for me.
I haden't heard of Reactory, good stuff.

Should have mentioned Evile's Skull but I also recently heard Accuser. DAMN. Scott wasn't kidding about that one. It's sheer fury and rage. Wondering how they are live.

Busy jotting down these titles. I'm miles behind this year. Shall be investigating these releases, especially the band Corplhicks said: Eville's newie. I heard Killer From The Deep & Enter The Grave by them a few years ago and loved it.

The best place is ebay. It's where I picked up my copy. It's a great album! I just picked it up due to the recommendations in this thread and all I can say is Wow! It'll be in my top albums of the year for sure.

Slaney has put out some great thrash this year with Possessor, Prowler, Reactory, & Rusted Brain. Lost Society, Hatchet, & Warbeast rip as well. I really dig the new Suicidal Tendencies. I need to pick up the new Accuser, Havok, & Evile.

The only new thrash from this year that I've purchased, I believe.

Lost Society so far.

Of course, I haven't picked up many thrash albums this year so far.

I picked up and love the new Heretic but would you call them thrash?

Right now I am thinking Hatriot with Power Trip a close second.

I'm surprised more people haven't said HATRIOT.

I also forgot to mention Hatchet's new one. I listened to it a couple times when I bought it. Just took it out again yesterday, and it is seriously good thrash.

I'm on my second listen of the new Diamond Plate now, and I really like it. It isn't 100% thrashy throughout, but compared to other communities where people like thrash, I think you guys can appreciate some of the other stuff they are doing on this record.

With that said, it doesn't come anywhere near the new Hatchet record \m/

I've been listening to the Hatchet album and, while I was initially impressed, I'm not so sure about it anymore. It's not bad by any means, but it just doesn't stand up to these other releases that are being mentioned. It doesn't seem as focused as, say, Skull or Diabolic. It spirals out of control in parts and the band doesn't know how to pick it back up. It's very random to me, nothing is really sticking.

I most certainly would and they are my pick for best thrash release this year by a wide margin.

I listened to it once when the whole thing was up for streaming and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I haven't bought it yet though. It sounded a lot better than other things I have heard listed in this thread.
