Best thrash release of 2013 (so far)?

What would you say was the best thrash/speed metal release of 2013 so far?


I've picked up several that I like including...
Boarders - R-Existence
Prowler - After You
Reactory - Killed by Thrash
Voivod - Target Earth
Rusted Brain - High Voltage Thrash
Possessor - Let Them Eat Metal (EP)
Flotsam & Jetsam - Ugly Noise
Atominated - World Without Fear (EP)
Havok - Unnatural Selection

But for me, so far, it's...
Accu§er - Diabolic

I don't have it to review. I'll have to look into it.

Man I am so lame. I haven't heard any of those Ult listed. And the only one I'm even slightly interested in would be Flots. And maybe Voivod.

Love the latest Flots and Voivod. I just didn't consider them thrash.

Glad you said that. i haven't heard the Flotsam & Jetsam record (are we calling them Flots now?)

The Voivod record is mighty! But not thrash.

And just to make the rules clear, neither is the new Megadeth.  

I'll go with either Sodom or Gamma Bomb, it's about all I've listened to properly though.

Hatchet - Dawn of the End

Hands down for me is Heretic - A Time of Crisis. The album is nothing short of fantastic.

Havok

For me it's between Havok, Sodom, and Hatchet.

Havok-Unnatural Selection
Lost Society-Fast Loud Death

I have not been in a thrashy mood lately, but my favorite has been Evile, of what I have listened to.

And Suicidal's new one.

Havok is fantastic. It might even be tied with Accu§er for me.

I feel Destruction's Spiritual Genocide needs a mention. That one is up there for my favorite album of the year.

Hey Scott, I just heard this album, and man, it rips! Thrash + Horror movies is right up my alley.

I know a lot of people really like Hatchet, but they just haven't clicked with me. I've given them a couple of listens, but it just hasn't happened.

As far as Havok goes, I love all three of their albums, but their last two have just been stellar!

F & J has thrash roots, therefore...thrash (well, technically)

But VoiVod ??????????? Disco Metal maybe  

Dudes!!! I am listening to the Prowler record on Spotify right now. This seriously takes the place for best thrash release in 2013, and probably in recent memory.

Loving the hell out of this. I'm a horror movie dude, 20+ years deep. The thrash with all the clips and samples interspersed...so fun.

I like it a lot as well, but it doesn't beat out Havok or Accuser IMO.

I haven't heard Accuser. Havok is definitely close...I need to listen to it again.

Havok for me. I like the Possessor too. Haven't heard the others you listed.
