Best Thrash Release Of 2012

Which thrash album of 2012 would you say is your favorite? I have all but 2 of the ones mentioned and my favorite would be Kreator followed directly by Testament, then Overkill, and then Bonded By Blood (which is my favorite of their 3 releases).

The only one I've heard is Overkill's Electric Age so I guess that gets my vote by default.

But Kreator, Overkill and Testament are monsters as well.

The only 2 on that list I have is Overkill and Testament. I voted for Testament.

Overkill's was great too, but that didn't come as a surprise as they've always put out quality albums. Testament gets the nod for the added cover tracks, making a great album even better.

I only have Overkill and Testament from those choices. Hard to choose between the 2 but went with Overkill. It's been with me longer so I got a better feel of it.

Testament on the list.

I went with other. From the ones listed I'd go with Kreator if I had to pick. Still haven't gotten to Tankard yet, nor do I have the Destruction or Bonded By Blood yet. I thought the first half of the Testament record was album of the year material but then felt the rest kinda over-stayed it's welcome. Overkill as always was real solid - probably even under-rated for an Overkill record.

My pick would actually be Municipal Waste's The Fatal Feast. Suppose it could get best crossover record if you wanted to get genre picky. I thought beginning to end that was the one I enjoyed the most. And before that I was not really sold on those guys.

Went with Kreator. It's stuck with me a little more than the Testament and Overkill releases.

That's what 'other' is for. I just picked the most well known bands' releases (though I forgot Municipal Waste) for the main selections and put 'other' for the ones I had no clue about.

Too wordy and I wasn't going to look up every thrash band that released an album this year which would be too much work for a poll on a message board. I picked the ones the most amount of people around here would know about so my poll wouldn't be cluttered with 0% [0] or 1-6% [1].

I go with Testament here.

Went with Other. Personally, best of 2012 was 4Arm - Submission For Liberty.

Gonna resurrect this one just to state that I only JUST found an album that very nearly knocked 4Arm off my #1 slot from last year. Eruption - Tenses Collide just completely kicked my ass!!!!
