Same here because so far nothing new has really rocked my world. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Compared to 2012 this year has been fairly lackluster, hopefully the second half of the year will see an improvement. |

| The only ones I have so far:
Circle II Circle - Seasons Will Fall Battle Beast - Battle Beast Saxon - Sacrifice Pink Cream 69 - Ceremonial Timo Tolkki's Avalon - The Land of New Hope Avantasia - The Mystery of Time Helloween - Straight out of Hell H.I.M. - Tears of Tape
Right now, out of those, I'd say Battle Beast is the one that's hitting me hardest. But Helloween is real good, too.
But that's just for now. There's still a Mystic Prophecy album coming out soon.

| At this moment...
1. Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused To Sing (and other stories) 2. Laura Marling - Once I Was An Eagle 3. Purson - The Circle And The Blue Door 4. Riverside - Shrine Of New Generation Slaves 5. Haken - The Mountain 6. Black Sabbath - 13 7. Deep Purple - Now What?!
Several other albums I've enjoyed but haven't decided where to slot them yet and still waiting to see what else grabs me before the end of the year.

Need to get that new Uncle Acid and the new Trouble. Like what I heard from Dream Theater and Fates Warning - really looking forward to those! I really like Scorpion Child - great album!

That one didn't grab me as much as I expected it to. Not bad at all, but I doubt it will make my top 10 for the year. More likely an "honorable mention". Same with Tom Keifer's album. I like it well enough, but don't love it. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Scorpion Child didn't do it for me either.
These did:
Black Sabbath - 13 Newsted - Heavy Metal Music Avantasia - The Mystery of Time Trouble - The Distortion Field Deep Purple - Now What (I've only been streaming this; really need to pick it up) Orchid - Mouths of Madness (same)
Still finding myself warming up to Helloween; it's not really blowing me away but it's good. Same with Ryche. Otherwise, it's been a good year!

Ooh, and Triptykon!
2013 has been a fantastic year! I'm gonna struggle to keep it down to ten.
