1- Saxon - sacrifice

2- Helloween - straight out of hell

3- Lost society - fast loud death (highly recommended)

4- Stratovarius - nemesis

Of course, the new UDO is out this month, so I guess I already have a number one

Fates Warning's upcoming album. Simply because they rule.

Of the nine 2013 releases I've purchased, only 3 have stood out, and 2 of those were completely unexpected:

Various - Sound City Real to Reel soundtrack

It's only been like 4 months so far, so I havent' bought a ton yet.

I do really like the new Suicidal Tendencies.

I'm really liking the new Satch.

It plays like progressive rock meets blues. It's quite good. It's not much like King's X at all. If you dislike Dug's voice, though, that might be an issue.

Pinnick, Gales, Pridgen = Bluesy power trio hard rock. It's really not that different from the old Eric Gales Band stuff, a little heavier from time to time but that's about it.

So far Saxon, Stratovarius, and Helloween have been very pleasant for me.
