Still haven't gotten my copy of the new Amorphis yet. I ordered it over a week ago and I usually get my ordered CDs after 4-5 days. Guess I need to contact the seller.

Yeah, I go through the Marketplace sellers to save a few bucks. Usually I get them quicker but for some reason this is taking a while. The mailman may have screwed it up because he isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. Too often we get someone else's mail in our box. I know this stuff happens but three days ago he gave me 6-7 letters for the elementary school next door and even though I kept the letters in the box and put the flag up, he put it down and left the letters. He almost did it the next day, but lukily I was there to correct him. Unfortunatly, I can't contact the seller because the CD still has another week to get here before it's a problem.

Hey, I will have a lot of time on my hands when I'm a truck driver! I will have plenty of time to shop around and maybe get some of the deals Eyesore talks about.

I only have 100 bucks each month to spend, which doesn't get me a whole lot. I remember when I was single and it was 500 a month. CD's everywhere...

so far I've only picked up 2 new releases, but both are good:
Killswitch Engage - Disarm the Descent. I liked this well enough to finally get around to buying Times of Grace, which I've also enjoyed tremendously.
The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us is the Killer (listened to this about 10 times in 2 days)
I'm for sure getting the new Extol later this summer, and the debut Bosnian Rainbows album as well (features ex-Mars Volta members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Park, but has some alternative/80s new wave vibes).
Hopefully I'll get the new albums from Voivod and Steven Wilson too.

Really looking forward to the new Kylesa. Unless they change drastically, I know I'm gonna dig it.

Blood Ceremony - The Eldritch Dark Kadavar - Abra Kadavar
Interested to see how the new Black Sabbath album will strike me.

With repeated listens, that new Laura Marling album could definitely be on my list as well. Playing it now on Spotify, and I'm really enjoying it.

This is my current top 10:
1. Stratovarius - Nemesis 2. Avantasia - The Mystery of Time 3. Gloryhammer - Tales From The Kingdom of Fife 4. Helloween - Straight Out Of Hell 5. Rocka Rollas - Metal Strikes Back 6. Holy Grail - Ride The Void 7. Screamer - Phoenix 8. Blazon Stone - Return To Port Royal 9. Hatchet - Dawn of the End 10. Satan - Life Sentence
There are still plenty of albums I want to hear, but I think the top 5 or so will stay on my list for year's end.
