Strange, I just checked again in case I just missed it, and it is definitely not listed under Megadeth on my Spotify. I'm listening on my phone, but it's a full paid version...so not sure if that is any different.
I don't see anywhere on the app version to go to a "newly released" page or anything. Weird. I'm logged into Spotify on my PC right now, and if you look up "Megadeth," the new album is the first thing that comes up on their artist page. The "Super Collider Commentary" thing is right underneath it. I'm serious, I'm not hallucinating! It's right there! I'm lookin' at it!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

But I am looking at Megadeth on my phone right now, and the very first thing listed is Super Collider Commentary. And then right under it is Countdown, then Thirteen, and on down.

Friggin catchy and heavy. The cover is okay, the Thin Lizzy version is much better.
I was surprised how well this worked for Megadeth. Vic approved cover! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I exchanged my unopened copy for the Best Buy exclusive and have given it one whole listen through. Very good album in my opinion. Kingmaker is a really cool opener and I also like Dance In The Rain. Also, like someone stated earlier, I don't think the banjo in The Blackest Crow is all that distracting. | |

| About a fourth of the way through it so far, and I have to say I really like it. Even the title track sounds good in context, and "Built for War" SLAYS. If the album keeps this quality throughout, I might end up liking it better than anything since UA, maybe even CW! Time will tell. | |

| I think most of the complaints are off base. This is a great album. The songs were memorable after one listen; which isn't always the case with Megadeth.....and.....It's still heavy! I love it. | |

| I've listened all the way through "Cold Sweat" now. I have to say that I really like this album! I didn't find any song I didn't like at least a little bit, and there were a few I really liked. It's more in line with Youthanasia or Cryptic Writings, which is fine with me, as those are two of my favorites from Megadeth. While most of Super Collider won't appeal to those who just want Megadeth to thrash as much as possible, I think the songwriting on the whole is stronger than on the past two albums. Well done, Dave and company! | |

| I'm enjoying it as a whole as well. A solid heavy metal platter with a few speed metal parts here and there. A more melodic album, not unlike "Youthanasia".
I'm pretty surprised by the negative and lukewarm comments I've read. These quote all from Facebook...
"It's ok for a a generic rock & roll album. I wish they were still playing heavy metal."
"i'm actually enjoying it, more of a rock n roll album if anything, which i dont mind haha"
"lame boring rock. where's the metal?" _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I have now given up. That is truly bizarre. Um, update. I just searched "Super Collider" under the albums section, instead of just looking up Megadeth. And it is there. So I half feel dumb, and half don't, since I never search for albums specifically, just bands. So just started listening now.

I have listened to it 5 times now and gets better with each play. Excellent album! As mentioned, more in line with Youthanasia than Peace Sells.

That's funny...but he didn't trust the government in 1986 either...it's nothing new. _________________ FINAL SIGN

http://www.metal-archives.com/reviews/Megadeth/Super_Collider/373373/BastardHead That is awesome. I loved this part: "we get a spoken word section where a groveling Dave Mustaine begs to some woman to just please let him talk to her while she tells him to piss off because she has no idea who he is. The female voice in this exchange is played by his fifteen year old daughter. And then there's one last verse about how vaccines are evil shoehorned into the end because why the f---- not? What is going on in this man's head? I implore you, make sense of this insanity. Albums like City or Obscura sound like the musical manifestation of insanity to you? Well you simply just haven't spent enough time with Super Collider. Between the not-bad-but-kinda-half-hearted speed rock and the really terrible radio half-ballads, the layers peel away to reveal a man who hasn't been in full control of his brain ever since he learned how to burn the bottom half of a spoon."

http://www.metal-archives.com/reviews/Megadeth/Super_Collider/373373/BastardHead For an album that is 'boring' he sure wrote a long BORING review. I love how metal fans, whenever they don't like something or find it boring, it can't possibly be 'metal', so they have to label it 'rock'. In the case of that review 'speed-rock'. Pft! Whatever! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| This album is damn good. It keeps getting better with each listen. "The Blackest Crow," however, keeps getting worse. This song is crap. It might have a few cool bits, but as a song it's shit. It's like Dave heard Volbeat and tried to cop the style...and failed. The worst component of the song is the drumming. Who played drums on this thing? It's like he picked up some drunk dude on the street who'd never played drums before. It's so awkward!
Both bonus tracks, even "A House Divided," with its horn section blaring, are ten times better.

Both bonus tracks, even "A House Divided," with its horn section blaring, are ten times better. The title track and "The Blackest of Crow" are my two least favorites. The title track somehow become less boring when following "Kingmaker" for some reason. However, it's still a pretty weak song to release as a single. I'm really ready to puke every time I read a review about how cool the guitar into is to "Don't Turn Your Back". I want to jump into every review and scream, "yes, it was cool when Ultimatum wrote it nearly ten years ago." I guess I just need to stop reading reviews, haha. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
