I've been on the fence with that one, but I will take your recommendation and rent it when I return The Amazing Spiderman to Redbox (providing it's there). I always like a good creepy horror movie. Not so much gory ones (I guess I'm just too empathetic for those-unless bad people are the ones getting tortured ).
Yeah no gore in this one. I think you'll like it.

The Ullevi show is amazing..... love that it was aired live in the Nordic countries. Wish I was at that one.... Newark was a great show, had a blast at that one!

"Slither" (2006)
Nathan ("Castle," "Firefly") Fillion stars as the sheriff of a small redneck town dealing with an invasion by slug-like, mind-controlling alien critters in this goofy, gory, action packed horror comedy that's kinda like "The Blob" hopped up on steroids and Red Bull. My wife and I were either laughing or saying "Ewwwww" all the way thru it (and sometimes doing both at the same time). Also stars Michael (Merle on "The Walking Dead") Rooker and the lovely Elizabeth Banks. Worth a look!
Thanks to Spec and S.D. for the recommendation on this one, it was a hoot!

Great f*ckin' flick!
Really enjoyed it, very visceral action movie, it was great in the theater because it felt like you were riding along with them.

My wife loves that Air Supply song too. When the movie was over she sez she'll "never hear it the same way again."

2013 Pro Bowl
Hoping this is actually more of a game than last year or Goodell will likely pull the plug on it.

Seems to be so far.... very cool that they let Jeff Saturday jump over to the AFC side for one last snap with Manning before he retires after this game.

Container Wars
man they throw some serious cash down on a hunch
Seems way more staged than the self storage shows. yet I stilll watch becuase I am that guy who will stop at any yard/garage sale I pass just to look inside a cardboard box.

Almost all of those kind of shows are staged (even Pawn Stars on History) but with PS and Storage Wars, you get history lessons and they're pretty educational. Now on Tru TV however, the fake shows are nothing but trash with almost no redeeming value. The only shows on TruTV that are worth a damn are the cop and survellence (sic) shows. Unfortunatly, they haven't had any new episodes in quite some time so all you get are Lizard Lick, Practical Jokers, and the second rate copies of A&E and History shows. Luckily, NatGeo's Border Wars and Alaska State Troopers fill the void (however, they are reaching the end of their seasons).

"Justice League: The New Frontier" (2008)
Action packed flick from the DC Animated Universe is set in the 1950s and details the formation of the Justice League of America, against a political backdrop that included commie paranoia and the space race. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash and the Martian Manhunter (to name just a few) band together to battle a gigantic alien invader with an extinction-level agenda.
Cool, retro-flavored animation and a great voice cast that includes David ("Angel," "Bones") Boreanaz, Lucy ("Xena") Lawless, Brooke Shields (!) and Neil Patrick Harris.
Thanks to Manny for the recommendation on this one, I really enjoyed it!

Back to when wrestling was fun to me and didn't have me reaching for the remote in disgust. Watching The Stiener Brothers makes me sad what Scott became. Went from a great athlete to a slow moving juiced up (to quote Shadow Angel) "mutant" with anger management issues (roid rage).
