"Crank" (2006)
Balls-to-the-wall action flick starring Jason Statham as a double-crossed hit man who's been injected with a slow acting poison. The only way to counteract its effect is to keep his adrenaline pumping at all costs, so he embarks on a rampage across L.A., going to absurd lengths to keep his heart rate up and his adrenaline flowin' while he seeks to settle the score with the gangstas who wronged him.
What this flick lacks in logic, it more than makes up for in crazed, hyperactive action sequences and a sick sense of humor. Fast, furious and funny as hell.

Sound City (2013, Dave Grohl)
Absolutely fantastic documentary of the famous Sound City recording studio in Van Nuys and the legendary Neve recording desk contained therein. This is basically a love letter to both rock music and the never-surpassed art of recording to analog tape. Recommended to all music fans.

Yea, I can't wait to see that too. Dind't know it was out already though. I thought it was coming out later this spring. The soundtrack seems interesting as well. I saw this on YouTube the other day...
I'm not really what you'd call a Stevie Nicks fans, but I dig this tune. Coupled withthat McCartney/Nivana tune, that's 2-for-2 on the soundtrack. Not bad.

Sound City was released simultaneously in the theaters and also on streaming services (pay-per-view) like Amazon and Vudu.
I'm really looking forward to the soundtrack album, the song with Grohl, Josh Homme & Trent Reznor is very cool, it was really neat seeing those 3 guys working together.

The Lincoln Lawyer (2011, Brad Furman)
Very entertaining legal thriller with a great cast including McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, Bryan Cranston, Michael Pena, William H. Macy and Ryan Phillipe.

I'd give any film with Marisa Tomei in it a shot.
EDIT: I was just looking up her resume in IMdb.com and I see she was in The Toxic Avenger (uncredited) as a health club worker. I'm going to have to watch that movie yet again and see if I can pick her out.

The Young Ones: Summer Holiday.
I forgot just how far ahead the comedy was for its time. One of the most unique shows made, and still classic today.

Yeah it is! The ending to the first season was way cool. I love how cinematic it is; each episode's basically a mini-movie.

I agree. Cumberbatch reminds a lot of Tom Baker.

I am stuck between Pertwee and Tom Baker from the classic series and Tennant from the current series.

The fifth doctor, whose name escapes me at the moment, is another of my favorites. I wish Netflix had more of his serials.
From the new series' my favorite is Tennant as well, I like Matt Smith and Christopher Eccleston a lot too, though.
