So I've listened to these sample about a dozen times now, and I'm pretty convinced this album is gonna rock. It has elements of early 90s Queensryche, but it also sounds like there is a nice progression of sounds and style that says, "This is the NEW Queensryche," you know.

I finally was able to listen to the samples and I also think the album will rock. I agree people will compare it to the the classic 5 + EP, but from the samples and the three tracks released alone, my guess is the reviews will be along the lines of "best thing since PL." Heck, the samples and songs out there sound like the best thing since PL to my ears. And the songs/samples alone are 1000 times better than FU.

Really looking forward to this one (already pre-ordered the deluxe version)!

i like the samples too. I would agree its 90s QR with some modern stuff thrown in but I like what i have heard so far.

I thought it was interesting that Eddie Jackson wrote "Fallout" and Rockenfeld wrote "In This Light," that latter of which sounds like it might be one their catchiest songs ever.

Yeah, that's a great tune! One of the things I like most about these clips is the drumming. If anything is old school about this album, it's going to be the way he played the drums.

Another really good tune. Interestingly enough, according to Wilton in a recent interview, Eddie Jackson wrote this song. He's not known for being much of a songwriter.

i may actually go get this one release day. Fallout is by far the best song i have heard from this album so far.

I am much more excited for the new Queensryche than I am the new Megadeth. I will definitely get this the day it comes out.

YEP! I just checked out that other song Fallout. Pretty good. The drumming just sounds alive on this album, as do the guitars and bass and vocals, like they are actually interested in playing these songs.

Listening to all these samples this album has the same exact sound of another album and I can't think of what it is right now but it will come to me eventually. Even down to the vocals, and its not a Queensryche album it reminds me of either.
