It kind of ticks all of the boxes of terrible, but somehow it's not even that interesting!

So many bands use these high-profile, super-expensive artists to do their artwork when you can get a fan to do it better and for free or hire some unknown to do it better and much cheaper.

Yep! I think the cover is fine - looks better than the Empire album cover. Sure, they could have done more, but it seems to be simple. I like that the album is S/T too. I will be gettingt this one first day.

Yeah, they don't have many great album covers. I think Hear In The Now Frontier is really cool, and I love The Warning's cover art, but besides that...kinda par for the course.

I was thinking of Overkill's Horrorscope and/or Electric Age but now that you mention it, yeah, Lex Metalis had that rusty green thing happenin' too.

its looks a lot like the Empire cover - just in green.

I think the new cover is clever. The triryche is clearly "metal". Which is what they wanted to get back to musically. Kind of their own jab at Geoff.

Yeah I see nothing wrong with it. I don't expect a whole lot from album covers these days anyway.

That was my first thought when I saw it - the cover says this is more of a "metal" album
