It's a shame it takes a death to make you start playing good music again.
They never stopped playing good music.

If you enjoy Tom Araya's tired-ass barks, and Kerry King's mundane, randomly-placed chromatic scale solos then more power to you!

There's some good tracks scattered through out the last four albums and Divine Intervention is underrated as a whole. Just my opinion.

DIVINE INTERVENTION is great, i agree. Also some songs from GOD HATES US ALL are good too. All cd´s that must be in a SLAYER collection. I love the last one WORLD PAINTED BLOOD very much.

No reason to melt your face off, he's correct, there are good songs on EVERY Slayer album.

GHUA is the only one I find unlistenable. Can't think of a single good (not even great) track on there.
Then again, I don't care for "Haunting the Chapel" either except that it has a cool album title.
Well, and then again, I can't listen to that cover album they did. Even the original track on there.

Haunting The Chapel rules, that was my introduction to Slayer and has remained a favorite over the years.
My favorite track from GHUA is Bloodline, I also like Disciple and God Send Death. Probably not a coincidence that all of those songs are Hanneman compositions.

I've never heard God Hates Us All. I like the other recent Slayer releases so I can't imagine it being any different.

I dig most Slayer I've heard. Seasons in the Abyss remains my favorite (followed by Show No Mercy).

Wish they'd quit borrowing significantly better bands' musicians. With Rob Dukes dicking around with Generation Kill, and Holt filling in for Slayer, we'll never see another Exodus album ever again.
And I'd rather hear Holt and Altus raising hell on "Exhibition C" than that tired-ass, monotonous Slayer shit.
In February Exodus will enter the studio.

New Slayer track...'Implode'
Sounds like Slayer to me.
EDIT: the band is offering it as a free download here... http://www.slayer.net/us/implode

Yep, that sounds like Slayer, all right.
Well, I'm less than impressed with the new track that's been talked about for a number of years. I'm not surprised, though. Slayer's been around for a long time and World Painted Blood was more of the same, only with worse lyrics. This is better, but not that much better.
I'm gonna hold out for a few more songs, but I'm not sold on anything with them just yet...

Not bad, for a typical Slayer song.

I actually enjoyed the song. Great melody once the song got faster. This is high praise from me. Im far from a Slayer fan!!

I hope that when and if they preview "Chasing Death," it'll be amazing. Slayer clearly still has the velocity and drive to be amazing.

Not impressed..... Sounds like a WPB reject. I'll give the whole album a listen when it comes out and then judge it
