Wow, $210 bucks? I saw the farewell tour with the original members front row center for only $75.

You have to adjust for inflation Anyways, they should have given Tommy and Peter their own makeup. It irked me a couple years ago when they had Tommy do "Shock Me" passing it like it was his song.
Methinks more fans would be receptive of Tommy and Eric if they had their own look.

LOL!!!!!
Ticket prices are getting out of hand these days! I guess the entire tour industry is trying to make up for last year when they lowered ticket prices from 2010 (they had trouble filling up arenas and amphitheaters for most tours, huge down year in the concert industry). I remember when I saw Iron Maiden in 2010 and Live Nation workers were walking around selling concert tickets for $10 because his sales were so bad! This was at multiple amphitheaters (PNC, San Bernardino, Toronto, DC). You could get $10 tickets for KISS, Ozfest and any of the other hard rock/metal shows touring that year!
I don't see the KISS/Crue tour selling well and I predict the same thing will happen again. And if I bought those $50 lawn seats and saw them being sold for $10 I would be pissed!!!!

I saw KISS for ten bucks a few years ago, and while they may have lost a little bit of money, they more then made up for it in T Shirt sales.

Same here. The last time they played in Philly (touring for Sonic Boom), the day before the show, they offered employees $10 club box seats. The wife & I went.
I've seen KISS twice, once with Ace & Peter, once with Tommy & Eric, both times in make-up. And I've seen Motley 2 or 3 times now too, so I'll be skipping this tour.

KISS playing "Detroit Rock City" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night...
I guess it was too much to hope for that they might drop a sneaky peek of a track from the new album. Oh well.

I've been a KISS fan forever, but it pains me to say that I'll be skipping this tour...these prices make me want to cry...I'm in NY & the closest place is Jones Beach, which is a crappy venue...I saw KISS there years ago & it was not the best show I've seen from the many times I've seen them...throw in the fact that the prices are astronomical & I have a good reason to stay away...sad but true...
I also love the Crue, but again, the prices are keeping me away...far away...that, and a bad venue...oh well....

Jimmy Kimmel Live was 11pm here and I made it till 10:30 before nodding off. When I saw this morning that they did tunes from 1976, it wasn't too big-o-deal that my old @$$ couldn't stay awake
The ticket prices don't surprise me. Ya got Gene and Nikki involved

I was soo disappointed last time I saw KISS live and I couldnt believe how bad Paul sounded. However that Jimmy Kimmel source he sounds ok. Rough, but at least he stays on course and dont crack. Perhaps that vocal surgery really did good then. Looking forward to Monster at least.

I saw KISS three times during the Reunion Tour - I don't think the prices I paid for all three shows combined equal to what a ticket is now...shame....

I know this discussion is taking place in the "official Kiss thread" but the tour also features Motley Crue. 2 bands for the price of an arm and leg.
No interest in seeing the Crue and Tommy's roller coaster drum kit?
