There isn't a room big enough to fit both Gene's and Sharon's egos at the same time. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I wouldn't be surprised if the next KISS album ends up being a Wal-Mart exclusive like AC/DC's BLACK ICE was. I'm sure Gene watched that entire process very closely. That wouldn't surprise me at all. Seeing how Walmart rolled out the red carpet with all the AC/DC promotion and merch tie-ins, I could totally see them doing the same for KISS. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | According to blabbermouth.net, KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has told the Brazilian web site Comércio do Jahu that the band's new album will be completed in July for a September release.
According to Simmons, the band has already finished recording the vocals and guitar for four tracks, with the finished product expected to include between 12 and 15 songs. Simmons describes the album's direction as the "classic KISS sound," not a million miles removed from the "Rock and Roll Over" LP but with a more modern production. The group's first album since 1998's "Psycho Circus" is being produced by KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley and will contain "no rap or country," Simmons said.
According to Amazon.com, Universal will release a new KISS live album called "Authorized Bootleg - Nashville Municipal Auditorium 1998" on May 26th. No further details are currently available.

| Saw the new-album news yesterday. Part of me wants to say "Meh, screw'em, the last album stunk, I still hate the idea of Thayer playing Ace and Singer playing The Cat" and blah de blah de blah, but then my Inner KISS Fanboy screams "WOO HOO! You know we're first day buyin'!" and drowns the other voice out.
I hate feeling all conflicted like that. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I didnot hate 'Psycho Circus', but as time as gone on, I donot feel it was such a strong album especially as a follow up to 'Revenge' and KISS's version of grunge metal ' Carnival of Souls', also to be honest nothing could have lived up to my over inflated expections. Like Freddy, a part of me is going screw these guys, but I also know the inner KISS fanboy will win out in the end and I will be buying it on day one. | |

Now that I think about it, most of my favorite KISS albums/songs are primarily from the make-up less era too. Huh, how 'bout that? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
