| I'm sure we've discussed The Motor City Madman before, but I'm curious, how many fans do we have here? What are your favorite CDs? Least favorite CDs? What do you think of Uncle Ted?
I am a total Nugent fanatic! I have been for decades, literally. I have front row tickets to see him on Saturday and am suppose to be getting backstage passes as well. I'm psyched!

| Not really a fan at all, I liked some of his stuff 20 years ago or so, I freaked out on acid once listening to "Hibernation"! | |

| Love Ted Nugent! Quick memory: My friend and I used to walk to school all the time, I told him one day that when I got my licence that the next day I would pick him up and drive to school blaring Wango Tango(that was our favorite Nuge. song at the time). I got my licence on my 16th birthday, the next day I picked him up and we drove to school all the while cranking up Wango Tango(on cassette). Lots of odd looks from other kids in the parking lot, but it didn't matter. Ted Rules! Ah memories... Anyway, I love the first album the most I think, followed by Free For All. I like Meatloaf's vocals on some of the tracks.
I don't have a lot of Nuge. I have the first 4 albums and the Great Gonzo compilation. I will be getting the Love Gernade album when it comes out though.

| If he never opened his disgusting fat trap ever again, I would still never have an ounce of respect for the jerk. One of the few "artists" that I turn off instantly any time he comes on the air. |

| Not a huge fan, Fred Bear (i think that is what its called) is a cool song though. I won a signed Ted Nugent Cookbook from a radio show once. Never sure what to do with it as I'm not a huge fan and it's not really my kind of cooking. Would probably trade it for some cool cds but always have 2nd thoughts when I think about it. |

| Not realy a fan of this guy but i dont think he is bad of course. I have some of his lps and cd´s. I like his mid 80s comercial hard rock like LITTLE MISS DANGEROUS and IF YOU CAN´T LICK EM...LICK EM. Also his more raw heavy rock on TED NUGENT(1975) and WEEKEND WARRIORS(1978) is not bad, but my all time fave album by TED NUGENT would be:
PENETRATOR(1984). | |

| I love Ted Nugent. I had the double live Gonzo on tape growing up and wore it out. Don't have any of his early albums but I do have Great Gonzo and listen to it from time to time. Spirt of the Wild is a good album. Saw it and decided to take a chance. Glad i did. I think Ted is better when he handles the vocals. | |

| Le Nuge was the first band that I was fanatic about. Played those first three (s/t, FFA, Cat Scratch) every day for a year. Of course now they are more of a nostalgia novelty, after getting played to death 30 years ago like that. Seeing Kiss with Nuge in 2000 was a hoot though! Oddly, though I hate Meatloaf, I loved him with Nugent. As an adult, I've come to dislike Ted's voice, and also the OTT content of the songs he sings. But I've been so much into guitar heroes lately, I'm curious about a lot of the later (unexplored by me ) material. I like my guitar rock with a southern inflection these days; so I've been thinking about re-examining Damn Yankees (didn't like it then). Also I know nothing about the Charlie Huhn era. Has Ted ever made much use of a southern rock sounding vocalist? I did think that the best MK II Bad Company (Brian Howe) songs were on Penetrator; but that ain't saying much I guess. | |

I can't find crap for Nuge in my town. But if I needed a compilation or CSF or the self-titled album then I'm in the clear. Forget it if your looking for State of Shock or Weekend Warriors or anything from the '80s Ted.

Forget it if your looking for State of Shock or Weekend Warriors or anything from the '80s Ted. All the late 80's albums were remastered and re-released not long ago. They should be easy to find. However, to get a copy of Craveman, I'd suggest checking out www.secondspin.com ult

| I was backstage at Ted Nugent last night. Got to meet Ted for the second time in my life, this time a little more close up and personal. I felt like a little kid meeting his first rock star. Very weird feeling for me, since I have met tons of artists I admire. I guess Ted is just one of those guys I have admired most of my life, so I was a bit nervous meeting him. I'll post a photo soon and a review of the show soon.
