I would too, but I view Facelift and Dirt pretty much equally but I could see why someone would pick Facelift.

You think Mortification's "Break The Curse" album is their best? Pretty much. Not a big Morty fan to begin with, but I liked that album quite a bit along with the follow-up S/T album.

I would agree with these. King's X has far better albums than Out Of The Silent Planet (in my opinion at least). Kiss Alive! would be my pick for the best Kiss album. |

wow, someone else who likes VM other than me. While Mind's Eye is an awesome album, Meltdown and The Maze are superior. The title track to The Maze is epic. While I love the neo-classical era albums, when he switched gears on Meltdown, he opened up a whole new world for himself.

The album has that special feel, the atmosphere, plus there's NNY. Although I haven't listened to his other albums, only some songs.

This. I'd change O:MC to "The Warning" or "Promised Land" though.

That's nuts. That's an example of a band that took four albums and a different vocalist to start putting out their best records. - Wurthless wrote:

Their first ALBUM was the Warning. And to me it's better than Rage for Order and a very, very close second to Mindcrime, or maybe even equal. So I can't complain if someone claims their debut album to be their best album. Same with Skid Row. The first two are both awesome. Personally, I like Slave to the Grind slightly more, but would not find it odd if half the people picked the debut instead.

Have to disagree - Slave To The Grind blows the S/T away! - Wurthless wrote:

Alice in Chains Metallica Kiss Journey King's X Have to disagree with all of these - Dirt is better MoP, RTL & AJFA are all better than KEA. KISS has better albums than the debut. The songs from the debut sound much better on Alive! Journey's stuff with Steve Perry is much better than the early ones Gretchen & FHL both better than OFTSP - Andy wrote:

Completely disagree. Great album, but it doesn't make my top 5 Maiden albums. Maiden got better as time went on. Best debut album ever list? Yes, it would be in there.
