So what about bands whose legacy has been set with only one album like Morbid Saint and Repulsion? What do you think about them? What if these bands (whether inactive or not) reformed today and made another LP?

I would very much enjoy another Spiral Architect album. We got Twisted Into Form, which is some former members, and that was awesome too, but I would like a second album from both bands. I'd prefer bands like this either put something out or lay it down that there are absolutely no plans for another record then just floating around while everyone waits.

Since my main listening realm lies in USPM/prog-power, I'm left with one album or usually a single demo tape most of the time. I'd love to see more from some bands, but what can I do?

Powermad has been promising us a new album for over 20 years. Don't think it will ever happen.

I was pretty sure 2013 was going to be the year.

I have to say Carnage (SWE) -- Dark Recollections. This album is just pure death metal and it's great.

Carnage is a good choice! I'd also add Disincarnate, and Liers In Wait.

Overthrow's sole album, Within Suffering, was awesome. It's too bad they broke up not long after it was made.

This used to be easy! But so many bands like Detente, Damian Thorne and even Kracken have reformed and started making more records so the only ones that spring to mind now are Sentinel Beast & Madam X, neither of whom are great.
