2. Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love (One of my fave albums ever, and only album I love from them)

U.D.O. - Animal House

Thinking on it, most of my favorite bands seemed to hit their stride with their second or third albums. In the case of a favorite (non-metal) like Oingo Boingo, their second and third were both amazing and totally different animals from their debut.
