| So, while thinking about my top 5 favorite live albums for Wrecked Necks thread, I thought about the fact that Ratt never have put out a proper live album. I know there is a version out there of "Infestation" with the Ep from '83 played live in its entirety; but that's not the same. I have a couple of boots to slake my thirst, but I really wish they had done something circa 1988-89 or so So, what other bands that had pretty lengthy careers and sold well but never released a live disc? At the moment I am blanking. | |

| It would be hilarious if Ratt's only live album ended up being a recording from that show which went viral earlier this year.

You know that would never get out to the public. But it is a funny thought.

While not as awful as the Ratt performances of late, the Van Halen "Tokyo Dome" release a couple years back comes to mind. I have a boot from a few nights before that show and the performance is a bit better, but still not as good as what could have been if they had done something in the early to mid 1980's.

| I'd go for a Nelson live album.
Saw them on their debut album tour and they were amazing as would be expected. House of Lords was the opener...

Saw him during the Self-Indulgent tour and it was great. All the shows are on the Stitcher app. Wish I could get it and convert it for my iTunes.

And, as far as muchly needed Live albums? 2 words... AGENT STEEL! The only reason I know about it is cuz they announced it at the show. I was gonna check if I could use a converter. From wiki: Stitcher is an on-demand Internet radio service that focuses on news and information radio and podcasts. It provides free online streaming through the website and via native mobile applications such as the Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Palm webOS.

True True True As far as Lep goes, I have a few boots from the early '80's to get me by. I’m gonna have to look for some Lep bootlegs from that time period. Weird Al has a tour next year with an orchestra so I’m hoping he does some kind of blu ray/cd combo.

Good call on Grim Reaper. I wish they had released one. I know Steve is not in the best of health these days, but there is still time.

Yeah, Skid Row is a surprising one given how popular they were at one point. I am surprised they didn't release one as a sort of contractual obligation when Grunge was happening in the mid 90's. Ha.

Oh Say Can You Scream on VHS would make a nice live album and its already in the can.
