Mmmmmmm...that looks right up my alley. I love Belgians and I love stouts but I can't say I know what a Belgian stout is.

That looks mighty tasty, Toho! I just had a beer called "Innis & Gunn Irish Ale: Rum finish". It's a strong ale (7,4% ABV) aged in oak barrels - It is just as tasty as it sounds.

I'm really starting to like beers "aged in oak barrels" or "aged in bourbon casks". This is the one that started it:

"It's the most...wonderful time...of the year!!!!"

Wouldn't mind trying that but it's not sold around here. I'd have to drive probably over 2 hours to get it and I don't need to try it that bad.

Getting my first taste of this year's vintage now. My first impression is that this year there's more cinnamon than last year. Still the nectar of the gods...

You just ruined it for me. Cinnamon in beer should not happen.

Something seems "off" with this batch. Too much spice, not enough pumpkin or something. I can't quite put my finger on it but I don't think it's as good as last year's version.

It is kinda heavy on the Cinnamon. I like it but it is a little overpowering. I might try a couple of others that I saw in the display.

Stay far, far away from anything by Blue Moon or Shock Top. Those are just bogus names for Miller/Coors and AB products.

they seem to love it.

I tend to take BA reviews with a grain of salt. They seem to favor IPAs which of course, I hate.

This batch definitely has more nutmeg and cinnamon than pumpkin which makes it taste more like their Holiday Ale IMO.

after having consumed the whole bottle, the taste seems to sink in and the pumpkin seems to come out. The first couple tastes were really cinnamon tasting though.

For lunch a tried an Amber from a local brewery. It was very good, i'd buy it again.

My wife loves regular Blue Moon but I find the Belgian White's to be way too light.
