I am interested in checking out The Crisp lager from Sixpoint Brewery.

Got a six pack of something called American Patriot Beer. It's the brainchild of a local roofer here in STL who was pissed when AB was bought out by Belgium's InBev. The slogan on the beer is "Taking America back one beer at a time".
I got it out of curiousity and unfortunately it pretty much sucks. It's slightly better than Budweiser but nothing I'll pick up again. I figured as much.

That little piece of information just tells me to avoid this beer at all cost

Is anything in the U.S. actually owned and made in country?

This beer is. It says even all the ingredients are from the US.

Yeah, a new, small brew. I was thinking of AB and other "American" brands.

Get a load of this "Tiny Toon Adventures" episode I stumbled across on YouTube. Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, and Hamton Pig share "One Beer"... and mayhem ensues.
Supposedly this toon aired once on FOX Kids back in the early 90s and then was taken out of circulation right afterwards. I could almost swear I must've seen it on its original airing, had no idea it had been banned.

That must be one hell of a powerful beer, and the bottle appears to be bottomless as well!

I love Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale. Great stuff. And yes, it's made in America.

Picked up a pumpkin ale by one of my favorite breweries, New Holland. Chilling a couple now.

My brother and his wife had an open house party for their brand new house last weekend, so to make it an extra memorable day/night, my brother got a 1/6 barrel of Rail Splitter IPA, along with many of the micro brews he had in his fridge. Someone gave him some Yuengling, and believe it or not that might have been the worse beer of the evening. It's great having a beer snob for a brother.

Doesn't surprise me. I think Yuengling is decent (way better than Bud, Coors, Miller et.al.) but i think it's overrated.

I agree with this as well. It in many ways is the Guiness of beers. People across the country will talk up these two beers as if they're God's gift to beer. They're good, but people need to venture out a little more. There are some tremendous micro brews out there.
