Oh man, that most definitely is! I'm all over Unibroue's beers (Tres Pistoles & Fin Du Monde especially). I'll have to keep my eyes open for that! Forwarded this link to my beersnob buddy at work. We're on the hunt!
Nice! Happy hunting! Mission accomplished! He went to another beer store during lunch today and bought 3 bottles for me and 3 bottles for himself. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I just got my my new Total Wine and More magazine (they just opened up last year about 5 miles from me) and they carry 2,500 different beers from over 250 breweries, so I'm gonna go hunting myself. They might have more selections than BevMo. | |

Well, looks like you can get KISS BEER now as well - they're out in Sweden, so at least it ain't brewed by some major American crap-brewery - Still skeptical, though

It wasn't bad but it really didn't taste all that much different then their other Belgian Dark Ales that are about half the price. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| It's good but just not worth $13 per bottle IMO. Around here you can pick up their Tres Pistoles or Fin Du Monde for about $6.50 for the same size bottle and while those are slightly less ABV, they really aren't all that different in taste. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I live in Illinois, but was visiting my old stomping grounds in Greenwood, IN (suburb of Indianapolis) this past Sunday. I met a buddy that night and we partook in a very tasty Brewberry Stout Java at a place called Oaken Barrel. If you don't like coffee, then you probably wouldn't like this, but damn it was good! Unfortunately one can't pick up a growler with this beer, due to the excess foam. Too bad, because on Thursday's one can get any beer in a growler for only $5!!! They have some nice tasting beers. Unfortunately there's not really much talk about this beer since it's a seasonal, but here's a bit of info about the beer.

| Holy crap, did I go nuts. I was oncall all last week and it royally sucked. I took today off to recover. I also made a run across the river to Lukas Liquor. I picked up over $300 worth of beer, mostly various Belgian tripels and quadrupels and a bunch of stouts. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| *bump* Just because the Beer thread belongs on page 1. And I made another run to Lukas Liquor today. Currently enjoying something called Southern Tier Cuvee #2. It's an uber-strong (11%) American Ale. I also picked up a case of North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout while I was there. I didn't know the general public could buy that by the case. Saved about $5 over buying the individual 4 packs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
