Mine too.

Show No Mercy is a great record, but they hadn't quite nailed their sound yet. Haunting The Chapel was the record where they really got unique.

This list is turning out stronger than expected. For me anyways.

Me too. The fact they included Sacrifice's Apocalypse Inside on the list pretty much meant I was going to be okay with whatever else they decided to throw on there. Turned out much better for my tastes than I thought it would. Of course I would've much rather seen a top thirty for each Metal Blade decade.

Well, at least the last three were pretty damn strong albums. I would have had Trouble's Psalm 9 at #2 before that of Show No Mercy, but I'm content with Hell Awaits being the top album.

Hell Awaits and Show No Mercy(combined with Haunting the Chapel) are my favorite Slayer albums and the only ones I own. Glad to see they got rated the highest!

i like all but 5 on that list, so that's not bad imo.

Yeah, it blows away most of the albums on the list if you ask me!

Another vote for SNM being the best SLAYER disc.

"Hell Awaits" defined their style more and was more influential, but had worse songs (like the 2nd half of the album).

I like all the eras of Slayer and there are several albums I find superior to Show No Mercy. SNM is an undeniably good album (and a classic debut record) and being that it's Slayer's most "straight-ahead" album I can understand how that appeals to many, but I don't consider it a mature effort based on what they would become.

Hell Awaits does bog down a little on the last couple tracks, but the overall impact of that album transcends that fact.

"Hell Awaits" contains what is probably my favorite SLAYER tune ... "At Dawn they Sleep".

Either that one is my fave or "Face the Slayer".

This list is crap. I like many of the albums on it but the selection of albums is bizarre and weighted heavily towards latter day releases. Boo!

no doubt......that is why I mentioned the MM comp's they had a lot of great bands and great music, as well as variety.

Should of made it a top 50 list at least.
