Yea, when it's someone cool. Most of the time I have to sit through Lady Gaga or Justin Beiber. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

So far, they've gone through 'Unchained', 'Running with the Devil' and 'She's the Woman'. Sounds kinda weird without Dave's lead. Kick ass!!!!! I am jealous as hell!!!

| After Eddie just noodled around for a bit, they went into 'Bottom's Up'. Wolfie's no Michael Anthony, but he's handling the bass and vocals duties well. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Kool and his Gang just took the stage. All of 'em are dressed in white except the drummer who's wearing a Cliff Huxtable sweater. | From MelodicRock.com: - Quote :
- VALERIE BERTINELLI SPEAKS TO WRIF-FM/DETROIT:
Tells Drew & Mike Without Wolfgang, There Wouldn't Be New Van Halen Music or Tour (MARCH 2012) – On Wednesday, actress Valerie Bertinelli talked exclusively with radio affiliates of Envision Radio Networks' Guest Services. During an interview with Drew & Mike on WRIF-FM/Detroit, the ex-wife of rocker Eddie Van Halen explained there would not be a Van Halen tour or new album without their son, Wolfgang.
When asked about the backlash over Wolfgang heading out on tour instead of former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, Bertinelli gave the fans a new perspective. "You know, I loved Mike too. I thought he was a really nice guy. Still do. But the only way this tour is happening is because Eddie gets to play with his son Wolfie. Otherwise this tour wouldn't be going on. It really wouldn't," stated Bertinelli. "This brings joy to Ed. That's what he wants to do nowjust have fun playing. As great as Mike is, this wouldn't be happening if Mike was still in the band," continued Bertinelli. "There would be no tour, there would be no album, there would be no nothing.
For any fans that are truly angry that Mike is not in the band anymore, well at least they get to see a version of the band, because they wouldn't be if Mike was. You're getting to see Dave and Ed and Al play together, and I know I am a proud mom and I am a little prejudice, but my son kicks ass! I mean he is an amazing musician," boasted Bertinelli.
Bertinelli was participating in the Guest Services tour to promote the return of Hot in Cleveland, which airs Wednesday nights at 10 pm ET/PT on TV Land. Click here to listen to the entire interview. Guest Services is a turn-key solution to guest booking with its unique lineup of pop culture guests and celebrities each day for high-profile morning shows. | I saw this the other day too. Nothing too surprising really. A mom proud for her son. Good for her.
While I would've rather seen Mike back in the band for the album & tour, Wolfie handled his duties well enough. He just seems a little green still for a big arena show. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Don't know if I've told this story on here before, but....
my brother was friends with a woman who was "seeing" Eddie at the time. Now my brother probably couldn't name two VH songs and much less care. Anyway his friend was having a cook-out and Eddie was sitting out back all by himself. My brother went over and sat down next to him. They got to talking. Funny thing was people would come up for pictures/autographs and get rudely blown off the whole while they were having a conversation about Wolfie's education. A "is the big prestigious expensive education really worth it" deal. They ended up talking the whole night. What impressed my brother most about him was how obvious it was how much love he had for his son.

| It seems like if it was going to blow-up, it would've blown up on the last tour or doing recording for this album.
The fact that they aren't flat-out cancelled is a good sign but the fact that they aren't giving a reason is a bad sign.

 Well, they recorded the album separately for the most part. And as for the last tour, was it as long as this one? This being the 3rd tour since the reunion, and a fairly long one, if it's going to implode it seems the prime time for that to happen.

Even rockstars can get tired ... and TMZ has learned that's exactly why Van Halen decided to postpone 31 upcoming concert dates.
Sources close to the band tell us ... the guys felt like the current schedule was "too much, too fast" ... and they were "losing their focus."
One source tells us, "They're simply burned out" ... adding, "They want to make sure their concerts are not a routine ... they want every performance to be special."
We're told the guys want to take some time to "re-charge their engines" ... so they can rock all 31 cities the way Van Halen fans expect to be rocked.
As for rumors that Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth are feuding ... we're told "It's total B.S."

Just when we all were beginning to think we were going to get a killer Van Halen album and an entire tour without any drama whatsoever, look what happens! Yesterday, Van Halen POSTPONED (not canceled!) most of their Summer tour dates with no reason given. Immediately, speculation ran wild. Fans wondered if there were health issues. Rolling Stone quotes a mysterious “source with knowledge of the tour” who supposedly said the band members “hate each other” and are “arguing like mad.” The Van Halen News Desk now has some answers form our trusted and proven sources. Other than those Summer dates having to be moved, it’s actually good news. First off, no one in the band is sick. No health problems. Second, we knew right away that Rolling Stone’s “source” is completely wrong, and can not possibly be a person with actual inside knowledge of the tour, because all four band members have been getting along splendidly throughout the entire tour. Roth and the Van Halen’s talk every day, and they are all smiles on stage. Everyone who’s seen the tour or even youtube videos can confirm that. In fact, the band is on such a high from playing together this year and they were really taken aback by the Rolling Stone quote. They’re older and wiser and haven’t had any issues with one another. Why were these dates postponed? The band has been working tirelessly for the last 18 months – writing and recording “A Different Kind Of Truth”, filming the “Tattoo” video, rehearsing, putting together the show themselves (lighting, the videos, the stage, routing the tour, and lots of behind the scenes stuff that most people don’t even know about). The band wants the second leg to be as awesome as the first. And for that to happen they want to put more time into the planning of it. Not just continue on with the same show. Van Halen is very enthusiastic about the rest of the tour and wants be on the road for a long time. Just how long remains to be seen, but we’ll say that the tour will probably continue into next year. They are now considering touring Australia and Japan in the near future. As it stands now, the 31 postponed US shows are due to be rescheduled. There should be some sort of official announcement forthcoming.
