Probably. I typed "roboter" into google and after a few German and ghey dvd sites popped up, there was a listing for a song called 'Die Roboter' by Kraftwerk. I guess that's it.
It was. the AXXIS version is fantastic. The drummer really tears it up on the song. the original is... not good. I don't electronica though.

Actually no. I had to check it out on youtube and I like the Hall & Oates version quite a bit. To me it sounds like it has a little of that 60's Motown flair to it.

Didn't scope out the entire thread to see if anybody posted this or not, so....
Didn't go through all the pages to see if this was mentioned yet (I doubt it). It is not metal, but I think there were other non-metal examples listed in this thread. One of my favorite covers is Karel Fialka's version of The Doors "People Are Strange."
