'Parks and Recreation' did an episode in a strip club (The Glitter Factory). During 4 different scenes, I was able to identify 3 songs. 'Unskinny Bop' by Poison, 'Sex Action' by LA Guns and 'Lady Red Light' by Great White. The 4th one I didn't recognize and I don't think there was vocals in the clip.

In the slasher movie "Skinner," there's a character named Geoff Tate.

The song is Nothing I really like, but the Netflix show I watched called Dead to me has this song in it. It's a show where Christina Applegates character is grieving over the death of her husband. One of the scenes she's asked about stress relief or meditation, and she says she has her own form of stress relief. It then cuts to her in her car head banging to this song.
By far my favorite scene of the show so far lol

Tonight on Jeopardy!, one of the clues was "Morbid Angel and Obituary are popular bands in this genre". One of the contestants rang in and replied, "What is death metal?"

Just watched the film "Shocker", not only are there a ton of metal bands on the soundtrack, but Kane Roberts had a small role as one of the people the villain possesses.

Last night's Goldbergs played Motley Crow's Home Sweet Home and had Tommy Lee in a bit part to boot.

The wife and me had dinner at her parent's house last night and I happened to catch a minute of the new Macgyver series while we relaxed in the living room. One of the hotties on the show was rocking a home made Ramones jacket with names and patches made to look like an Army coat. It was really cool.

So, in a season 4 episode of the A Team earlier this evening, they were protecting a female rock star. As the show opened, they had fans buying her albums at a Tower records. When they showed the outside, there was a huge poster for Kiss' Asylum in the window. Pretty neat to see was the names of the artists in the racks surrounding the fake rock stars records.

Apparently, the ratings were dropping for the A Team in season 4 faster than a dump truck full of bricks fall off the Empire State building so there were tons of guest appearances. Hulk Hogan made his appearance, as well as Pat Sajak and Vanna White when Murdock went on and won on Wheel of Fortune. I know he's not even really Rock, but Boy George and Culture Club were featured and even performed 2 full songs!

I just realized that Ozzy did a voice on a Bubble Guppies episode. It sounded like him and then I had to go to Wiki to look it up.

Not a real band, but in the Pixar film Onward, the inside of a van has a sticker for a fictional band named "Basilisk" done in the Slayer font.

I’m not sure if it’s running nation wide or just local, but UPenn Medical is running a commercial with Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”. I was in another room the other day when I heard it coming from the living room

There is a new Geico Insurance company featuring Ratt. Pretty good, but not as cool as the Dokken vs. the Chicken commercial from a decade or so ago.

I saw it on sleazeroxx and then came here to post. Then I realized that someone posted it on the front page (in HoM) I think.
