I liked that one better than the original

Showtime's "Billions" had the main character wearing a Black Sabbath "Master of Reality" t shirt in last night's episode. One of the writers has got to be an old school metalhead.

I watched Action Point yesterday afternoon. It wasn't very good; it was barely R-rated, despite having an R-rating. Some of my favorite comedies are PG-13, but if it's an R-rated Johnny Knoxville comedy, go full throttle with it.
Still, I noticed Motörhead and Judas Priest shirts, and also saw a TV with "NWOBHM" on it.

Forgot the product (car or phone maybe) but they are using Alice Cooper's "Under My Wheels" and then the Coop shows up at the end. Pretty cool.

I went to see Mission: Impossible - Fallout with my father this evening. One of the previews was for the movie Bumblebee, and Hailee Steinfeld can be seen wearing a Motörhead shirt.

Anyone catch this Acura commercial featuring Motorhead's cover of 'Sympathy for the Devil'?

On tonight's season premiere of Supernatural, the opening recap montage had AC/DC's Shot Down In Flames playing over it.

I think it's Geico that's using Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" in a current commercial. Also, I was flipping channels tonight and saw the Rush cameo for the Tom Sawyer segment of Family Guy's take on classic books.

I saw Fighting With My Family this afternoon.
The songs "Born to Raise Hell" by Motörhead, "Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter" by Iron Maiden (I know, one of their weaker songs), and "Wild Side" by Mötley Crüe are used in the film.
Also, the lead actress has Children of Bodom and Metallica posters in her room. Plus, one of the characters wears a Mayhem shirt. (Coincidentally, the movie about the Norwegian black metal scene, which Mayhem were a key part of, Lords of Chaos, opened the same weekend.)

Revisited Rob Zombie's "Halloween" last night, I'd forgotten that when we first meet the preteen Michael Myers he's sporting a Kiss "Destroyer" tee and rockin' out to "God of Thunder" in his room.

Re-watched an old episode of The Office over the weekend. Dwight and Angela's wedding episode.
As she's walking down the aisle, an instrumental string version of GnR's 'Sweet Child o' Mine' plays. And during the reception, they dance to 'Angela' by Motley Crue.

Dee Snider has a cameo in "The Last Sharknado" as a Western sheriff... and of course his scenes make numerous TS references. At one point another character refers to something as "twisted," to which he replies, "Hey, I know what's twisted, Mister!" and later he says "I'm not gonna take this anymore!"

Just watched the 2016 Ghostbusters. After they catch a ghost at a metal show (just a made up metal band), Ozzy shows up and says "Black Sabbath was doing that in 1974!".

Motley Crue's 'Home Sweet Home' is being used in the new trailer for Netflix's 'Stranger Things 3'.
