I see it on a near-weekly basis. As I'm sure you've learned by now, Nickelodeon plays "SpongeBob" about sixteen hours a day (the other eight hours being divided between "iCarly," "Big Time Rush" and "Victorious"), so if you leave the channel on long enough you're bound to see that SpongeBob episode sooner or later. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Oh, yea. I'm pretty sure Spongebob is playing on some channel, somewhere at every possible hour. And if that's not enough, we can always find him OnDemand. It's Spongebob-mania. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

I curse the day that my kids found out about the existence of the On Demand channel. Now whenever they can't find something on TV that they wanna watch, it's "can we demand a Spongebob? Can we demand a Scooby Doo?" etc., etc. ... arrrrrgh! I'm like "go outside and get some frickin fresh air already for cryin' out loud!" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| My problem with it is when they latch onto a show or certain episode, then OnDemand stops running it. Happenend with classic Tom and Jerry cartoons. My son loved them, then one day *poof* they just disappeared from the programming. I think contracts expired or something of that nature. Try explaing that to a 3 year old. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Ha-ha!! I saw that episode this weekend too. I didn't know that was Dee! Funny. I'm glad the twins are finally getting into Spongebob. It's something we all can enjoy! There's been quite a few "Metal Moments" on SpongeBob. Someone on the staff must be a fan. Sebastian Bach was a guest voice a while back, so was Gene Simmons (along with Shannon Tweed). In the SpongeBob Movie you can even hear a snippet of a Motorhead song ("You Better Run," re-worked as "You Better Swim") during one scene when SpongeBob and Patrick stumble into a tough-guy, biker bar. You forgot about Dee Snider as Angry Jack on Sponge Bob. Heck, I just remembered it!!! And I Wanna Rock re-recorded as 'Goofy Goober Rock" for the Sponge Bob movie..... My kids love Spongebob so it is on often in the house..... along with icarly, since my son likes the girl that plays Sam a lot.... | |

| I was watching Discovery Channel today, and this German version of "Overhauling" came on. Here they bought and renovated a minivan for a German death metal band, and the entire program had a metal theme. They even spray painted the bands logo on the hood of the car! Damnation Defaced was the name of the band. _________________ | |

| The movie "Old School" was already mentioned, but not the scene where Will Ferrell is starting up his car. "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake is playing on his stereo.
In the movie, "Law Abiding Citizen," The guy that kills Gerard Butler's family has the ringtone on his cellphone of Slayer's "Bloodline," and the scene where Butler kills his cellmate, "Engine No. 9" by the Deftones is playing on the Ipod.

| Last night's episode of the Simpsons featured Alice Cooper's 'No More Mister Nice Guy' during a montage of Bart's shenanigans. It sounded like a newer version though, not the classic. Alice sounded the same, but the music sounded updated or more modern. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | ^I don't care for that song, but it was also on an episode of How I Met Your Mother where Barney was trying to seduce this blonde bartender. Robin later concludes that everybody thinks she's hot just because she's the bartender, so she goes up and serves drinks and the song plays again. She makes all these really sexy poses and smiles at everybody and acts all playful. As much as I dislike that song, I must say that is quite an exciting moment. | |

| Sebastian Bach turned up in a voice role on a "Robot Chicken" episode that I watched last night. He played "Wild Man," a mystical Rock God lookin' guy who kept popping up out of thin air and pestering a bunch of kids about safety, good hygiene, etc. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I rarely watch South Park, but I happened to sit down for a bit and the show was on telly. It was the episode where home schooled kids go to a party with the regular kids. And who's playing at the party but Dio!
For those who never saw it, he was introduced as a famous 70s and 80s rock singer Ronnie James Dio, whose solo debut went number one. Then Dio comes out and thanks the audience for helping his solo debut get to number one. Mind you, the audience is a bunch of nine-year-olds who had no idea who he was.
The band then starts playing Holy Diver.

| Maybe these aren't totally "metal," but while watching the "Yogi Bear" movie with the kids last night I heard Poison's "Don't Need Nothin' But A Good Time" and Airbourne's "Running Wild" in the background during a couple of scenes. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Continuing with the "Robot Chicken" theme, Gene Simmons was a guest voice on last night's episode. The sketch was a fictitious commercial for a Broadway musical version of "The Beastmaster" starring David Hasselhoff as "Dar" and Gene as the villain ... Gene's "character" (played by an action figure with a bad hairpiece) threw the devil horns constantly _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
