Favourite Iron Maiden Album

What is everyones Favourite Iron Maiden classic. for me it is a toss up between Iron Maiden and Somewhere in Time but i think the debut edges it

I picked KILLERS, but just as easily could have picked PIECE OF MIND.

"Powerslave" is my favorite. "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" is a close second.

somewhere in time, but i prefer The X Factor. A Matter of Life and Death would be close 3rd

At the moment I'd say POWERSLAVE but I could probably give you a different answer tomorrow or the next day...

Somewhere in Time. I love the sound of that record and the masterpiece Wasted Years.

The Number of the Beast (although nothing of their's is really weak,except the Blaze Bailey releases,imo)

You know what, I'm not really a big Maiden fan. I have a good number of albums, but I've never been blown away.

I kinda shift back and forth between the debut, Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son. But for this poll I picked SiT.

That would be my 2nd favorite Madien album right now - it hasn't been out long enough to take the # 1 spot - we'll see in a few years how it stands the test of time. I listen to it more than any of their other albums right now - so much going on, I like more every time I listen to it.

I voted Powerslave but very well could have said Piece of Mind or the newest.

brave new world should be on that list.... but if were talking only 1980's stuff... (even though fotd came out in 1992).

7th son got my vote, it simply is hard to pick 1 classic, but that has the most meaning and memory to me in all the albums up there. There is just something so epic about it, and nostalgic at this point.

I only started with Maiden on Somewhere in Time and then had the whole back catalog but 7th had the most impression I guess. Man this was a tough pull, but yeah 7th wins for me.

I honestly think BNW is it s equal!

Ult, I think Matter of Life is amazing like your friend, but I have problems with Bruce's vocals on some songs (to high and trying to hard), that is my only gripe about it. So I will say it doesnt get top album, but close.

It's surrounded by classics both before and after....really....Killers through Powerslave are awesome to me....then they take a break with SIT and 7th Son and following...making a brief return with FOTD.....until Brave New World and Dance With Death come out to kick my brains in once again!!!
