Moon? That is a superb film. The blu-ray is terrific, definetely one to get.

I have read rave reviews about this film on several boards and you guys raving about it finally convinced me. While I typically go for gory movies, I'm also a sucker for intelligent science fiction which everyone seems to think "Moon" is.

EDIT: Picked it up for $7 ppd.

Cool flick, Frederic March is great in the title role. I recommend checking out the 1941 version with Spencer Tracy & Ingrid Bergman as well.

Watched most of "Moon" again Friday night. Even got the wife interested.

Last night was "Extract".
Terrible. Being a Mike Judge fan, this was very disappointing.

Undisputed. Pretty good boxing-in-prison flick with Ving Rhames vs. Wesley Snipes.

I liked it, saw it in the theater. I knew it wasn't going to be "office space part 2", that he was going for a more low key approach. It worked for me, I thought the whole gigolo thing was hilarious.

I thought there was too many storylines going on that didin't really gel. I had a few small chuckles, but the comedy was missing. I loved Idiotcracy and Office Space, so I guess my expectatations were set too high for Extract. Mila was nice eye-candy though. It wasn't a total waste of and hour /45 minutes.

I did, just finished the book and wanted to see the movie versions, watched both movies and very dated as far as acting style and directing but still good films.

My copy of "Moon" came today.

I need to finish Near Dark (a really subtle vampire movie; the "V" word is never even mentioned) but then I'll start "Moon".

"Near Dark" is with Lance Henriksen? I remember catching that late night on cable years ago. I remember enjoying it back then. Let me know how it holds up. That one vampire's obsession with the main character's little sister was creepy because I didn't know if it was a he or a she!

I saw Near Dark a few years ago, and it's still pretty innovative. Good stuff.
