| I really hated Superman Returns. Didn't like that it tried to be a sequel to the original movies, thought Kate Bosworth was horrible, the writing was stupid, the direction was leaden. Even the decision to darken the colors of Superman's costume was wrong-headed. The only character in the movie I liked was the guy Lois had hooked up with - he seemed more genuinely heroic than Superman.
Watched Invictus the other night. It was pretty solid. Good acting. | |

| I caught most of 'Year One' last night on cable while I was going through the mail. Missed the first 15 minutes or so. Despite my hatred of Jack Black, I thought there was some pretty funny scenes and jokes in there. Michael Cera was funny. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | The Wolfman Pretty good. Not as great as I thought, but pretty good. My wife and I were in that barn where his brother's body was kept when we were in England last year! I thought something looked very familiar, so I paused the movie to look up it's filming locations and lo, and behold, there it was. It's a 6-700 year old barn preserved basically how it's been for centuries. This is the barn from the outside. | |

That movie wasn't that great at the time. It was the inspiration for the TV show Hill Street Blues. |

| The origional Clash Of The Titans. Despite the graphics being so dated, this is such a superior movie to the butchered (I mean re-made) one. They did a lot with what little technology they had at the time while the new one had a wealth of tchnology at their fingers. | |

"Killer shrews, Killer shrews........" Great (cheesy) flick. I have the non-MST3K version in a cheap-o box set called "50 Horror Classics." The first time I watched that movie, I was going crazy trying to figure out why the guy playing the hero looked so damn familiar. It wasn't till I looked the movie up on IMDb that I found out it was James Best, who went on to play Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane on "Dukes of Hazzard." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
