I use to hate Slaughter until I saw them opening for Ted Nugent and they blew me away. Been a fan ever since.

Bulletboys, I have a CD or two yet to review of them. Not sure what I think of them.

I've seen'em live too and tried to give'em the benefit of the doubt, but I wasn't impressed. That guy's voice just goes riiiiiight through me. He's irritating as hell on record and it was ten times worse live and in person.

I can understand that. He does have an unusual voice. I saw them back in 1999 and he still sang pretty well then. Have heard he's gone into a steep decline over the last decade.

Creed is MUCH BETTER than Alter Bridge....... They are just a poor excuse for Creed and lack the Magic of Creed. CREED RULES!!! Scott Strapon is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!


On a side note, I do not worship at the alter of Tremoli or Strap-On, but I do think Creed is better than Alter Bridge and they are lacking something

There's a lot of bands I don't care for, and have zero desire to listen to, but would never say they suck.

I'm not a hateful person, and would much rather discuss music I truly like.

There are bands I hate and even utterly despise (however, very few would I say I truly despise), but I would much rather not talk about them.

Oh c'mon RF, get in the spirit of the thread. Venting is great therapy. List some bands you think suck.

While I will say that Slipknot's songwriting is nothing too groundbreaking, I do the fact that they are getting kids interested in heavy, extreme music.

That all being said, I do really like Slipknot. Despite many of the preconceived notions about "nu metal" bands, Slipknot has quite a bit of talent.
