Me too! I hated the way they ended the regular series with everyone gone to the parallel world and Rimmer dying.

I finally watched Threads a few days ago....WOW!!! It still has the same punch as it did when I watched it on PBS in the 80s.

"Night of the Living Dead" (1968)...for about the millionth time...

"Yeah, well, they're dead...they're all messed up" is one of my favorite lines of movie dialogue ever.

...and that line was improvised on the spot, Romero thought it was so hilarious he used it.

Old Dogs - complete and utter crap from Disney

It's Complicated - decent feelgood movie

Dumb & Dumber - for the umpteenth time. Still funny!

I loved Zombieland I got it on DVD, in fact theres a band I really really really like called Metric they had a song on that movie thats how i discovered them hehe

Sideshow what was your fav part? Mine was when Bill Murray got shot and when Woody's character and Bill Murray were playing Ghostbusters

While technically not a movie, I did watch my Walking With Dinosaurs DVD set. Though I disagree with pretty much every theory put forth in the series, the little kid in me always likes to see dinosaurs on screen.

I've got everything the Walking With Dinosaurs team has ever put out including the Chased By Dinosaurs series and Prehistoric Park.

I agree you have to put aside the evolutionary bias in the series but the special effects are breathtaking.

The special effects are very good. I still think Jurassic Park has the best special effects when it comes to dinosaurs (or any movie for that matter). I've seen bits and pieces of Walking with Monsters and Walking with Beasts. They were very good documentaries as well; however, Dinosaurs is still my favorite.

The Boondack Saints - Fantastic! Never seen it and had no preconceptions about it. Great, great movie.

Planet Terror - Had no idea this was a mutant/zombie movie. Not bad. It was just blood and explosions for their own sake, though, instead of a scary movie.

Iron Man - The girls and I watched this again in anticipation of seeing the new one. I love origin stories and this was a good one. Dryly funny, great fx, etc...

Mongol - Story (I have no idea how true or how imagined) of the rise of Ghengis Khan. Very, very good and i recommend it.

Planet Terror took the Goriest Movie I've Ever Seen title from Dead Alive for me.

Year One - thanks to Spec's ravings, I watched this last night and laughed till I thought I was going to puke.

It made me want to watch that old Dudley Moore flick "Wholly Moses!" afterwards.

I thought that was supposed to be terrible? I don't see how with the actors involved, so i'll check it out.
