Any news about these guys? I kind of lost trace of them after their very good "Fear no Evil" album.

I'm a fan of this band. But I've only picked up their first two so far.
I need them all.

I thought I heard Jeff Blando (guitar) and Dana Strum (bass) were playing as part of Vince Neil's backing band on his solo tour, but I could be mistaken.
Not really a fan though. Had their debut on tape, never upgraded to cd. Mark Slaughter's voice gets on my nerves after awhile. I can only take him in small doses. Saw them live in a tiny club a few years back which was cool though.

I think this band is probably done. I think their last album, Back To Reality, came out in 1999. No word of any new album since. And Mark Slaughter's vocals has apparently shit the bed, or he has. Probably both.
Hard to listen to. And that's not just an off performance. There's a lot of recent clips like this from the last year or so.
Not sure what happened to him, but that's just no good.

He has throat AIDS then. The video for the clip above was posted in February 2009. This is from 2007:

How very un-metal of you, Thunder Dong.
Would you prefer "Organic Batter Blaster"? Say the word and it's changed.
And wow, holy smurf-poo-dingleberry-fracking-mother-trucker!! Mark's voice is shot. I could do a better job singing those songs in the shower.

Man, that sucks, I am not huge Slaughter fan but I think we know why they have not made an album since 1999.

Wow, those Slaughter clips are hard to watch. I really like this band but I don't think they ever really took off here, which is a shame - Stick It To Ya is such a fun album. I only have the first two, but the next few are on my 'to buy' list.

It was good, but I wouldn't say 'much better'. Slaughter is better actually.

They're a great band. Every album is really good.
You guys ever hear Mark's pre-Vinnie band, Xcursion?
Good stuff, though this is a rip from the original release. It was reissued in the late 90s with their EP included as a bonus. Not sure if that version sounds better.

I have the EP on vinyl. My cousin says she dated Mark in high school. I said didn't you date everybody in high school in Vegas

Hey all! Not been "here" for a LONG time! It's good to be back! Shiney and I saw Slaughter last summer, and Mark's voice was ATROCIOUS (what you could actually hear of him). It seemed to us that they put his vocals WAY down in the mix... most likely because of how bad his voice is. Of course, the most memorable thing from this show was that it was "The Dana Strum Show". His bass was so STINKING LOUD, and he danced his way all over the stage. VERY OBNOXIOUS! I guess if your singer can't sing anymore, you have to make up for it somehow...
