How was the Slaughter set. I saw them many years back and they were great. I've heard horror stories about more recent tours and how poorly Mark sang.

He has NO voice left at all. It was SAD to watch and listen. Like someone had mentioned here before, he needs to hire someone that sounds similar to what he USED to sound like to handle the vocals, and just play guitar.

That sucks! It was actually a live performance on the Rock Never Stops tour back in the 1990's that made me a fan. They were fantastic. Blew Quiet Riot off the stage. (The other bands were Night Ranger and Ted Nugent.)

I saw that tour as well...1999...Slaughter was great...also when I saw how good a guitarist Mark is...

The band sounded GREAT! They are carrying Mark at this point (to get a paycheck I assume)...

Mark was a great singer.

I got introduced to them through fear no evil.

Too bad he lost his voice.

They should hire a replacement. Wouldn't Tim Owens be interested?

Oh dude! I know this sounds funny ... Tim Owens singing glam metal ... but seriously - I bet that would rule! Have you heard Tim on Yngwie Malmsteen's album yet? He sounded FANTASTIC with the mellower stuff. I bet another step mellower yet and he'd probably shine! Just sayin' ... IMO Ripper is underrated.

Owens would be horrible for Slaughter. No frickin' way!

I know it SOUNDS horrible! Just like my friend used to tell me to put Doritos on peanut butter and jelly sammiches. It SOUNDS bad - but in reality is REALLY good!!!
