Funny story about Slaughter I got on some other board...
"This friend of mine got into Slayer by accident. He was a hair metal fan as a kid, back around 1990 or so when his mom took him to the record store and said he could pick out one album and she'd get it for him. So, he picked up Stick It To Ya from Slaughter, which his mom vetoed on the grounds that the picture on the cover was overly violent and sexist. So, he looked one band over and saw South of Heaven, thought it looked cool, and picked it out. His mom, oddly enough, didn't object, probably because she didn't look too closely and got him the album. It blew his mind and instantly became a huge Slayer fan."
